Please read before applying
Please read before applying. We have only lived here a short time but there are a few things I would like to let people know about before they apply. Firstly, the apartments are new and nice. The kitchen is our favorite part. However, new is not always the best.
We are on the new side of the apartments and paying for a pool front apartment but the pool and the clubhouse/grills are not open. When we ask about the ETA for when they will open, we were told "they still have to order furniture and... do a few things to that side". Secondly, our mailing boxes are not ready. We asked about this and we were told they were waiting on the post office, so we have to go to the post office to pick up our mail and packages. Mind you we are also paying for a package fee with our apartment. We asked the post office about this and we were told they were behind because Foley has exploded with new apartments and they could not give us a ETA.
The next thing I want to mention is the noise. We can hear everything from our neighbors above us. The floors are so thin and have no carpet on the top floors. We can hear every foot step throughout the whole apartment.
Another thing to mention are the bugs. The first day we moved in we killed five wolf spiders in the apartment (not to mention all the silverfish and smaller spiders). We notified the management and they did send someone to spray, but there are still bugs.....several a day.
Overall I would like to love our apartment but I feel like they have thrown them up too fast and just wanted to get bodies in them. There seems to be no effort on the amenities getting completed anytime soon. And just to remind you they are charging extra fees for the pool front apartment, pest control, and package delivery... all of which we are not receiving.
