Safety and Maintenance Issues
If I could give zero stars I would. When moving, Zelda was decently priced and quite spacious, my only reservation was the previous bad reviews. Right when we moved, the complex came under new management who promised all the previous issues were going to be that - previous. So we signed the lease. It didn’t take long before I began to regret that. When you moved in, you had to fill out paperwork with things that needed repairs, we filled that out and only had a couple of things needing repairs.... Otherwise, everything looked really nice and clean. 2 weeks went by and we had not heard a thing about getting everything fixed. So I put in work orders. Someone came by, looked at everything, and said everything should be taken care of by the following day. Except, no one showed up the following day. So we had another maintenance issue over the weekend so I had to put in another work order and I logged in to check the status in the middle of the week and every. Single. Order. Was listed as complete and fixed and no one had ever come by. So I called the front office and explained the situation. They sent someone out who looked at all our issues and worked on what he could. I was assured he would be back the following day to finish up. The next day, no one ever shows up or calls to update us. I wait almost a week before calling the front office again to get someone out there to finish up the work that was suppose to be done right when we moved in. Then we have had numerous issues with our dishwasher that I have put in multiple work orders for. I recently found out that the main person who came to our apartment in the beginning was just telling his supervisor there was nothing wrong with it and we were being overdramatize. It ended up having another issue and low and behold, the entire dishwasher is ended up having to be replaced now. I can forgive maintenance issues because I know it’s a large complex and there is a lot going on. But the main issue is when maintenance came out to do some general updates (light fixtures, etc), THEY LEFT THE KEYS IN OUR DOOR. For over 12 hours, a set of keys stay in our door that anyone could have taken. No one ever came looking for them or called asking if they were left in our apartment. When I took the keys to the front office to get an explanation and to express my concerns about how I felt very unsafe living here now, I was in short told all she was willing to do was change the locks and she said sorry this happened.
