Pros: This place is cheap. Staff is very polite.

Cons: PICTURES ARE VERY DECEIVING. Go look for yourself before you buy. Firstly, There are no light fixtures in my living room so I have to buy lamps or walk around by candle light. The neighbor hood is run down and neighbors here often throw there trash out in the parking lot and out on the tree-line that is right next to the apartment. Far away from University so if you looking for a good place for college definitely get something closer and...
nicer than this place. There has been an absurd amount of construction on the road entering Aspen Village almost the entire time Iv lived here. Potholes in road throughout the street of Aspen Village. Neighbors are often loud and nothing is done even if you complain. Very annoying during exams.

Wish I would of visited before buying but Covid prevented this. Am very envious of my buddies who got somewhere closer to campus and forked out a bit more money. Please visit and make a decision for yourself. Don’t judge based off pictures on here.

LIES

I have lived here for almost 2 years and this place has been awful. When I first moved in there was a lot of crime (shootings, attempted rape) so they cracked down on security. I was pleased with the additional security but the entrance of the apartment complex is still awful. When you drive in there are always unattended children running around and thugs sitting outside. Despite my many concerns I signed a second lease because things did improve. However, this second year has been nothing short... of a nightmare. I have made several complaints about the noise and I have gotten a lot of mouth service but no results. When I called "security" one night they never came, which resulted in me having to call the police! I requested to speak to the manager but never received a phone call from him/her. Also, the influx of students lately is making this place a party place and I'm far too old to listen to loud music and screaming all night. I would save my money and rent a box if I was you! RUN don't walk from this place! Also, pest control never came to my apartment (I'm home during the day), rent increases every year (why?) and the apartment is outdated. Sealy should do a better job at screening applicants as well. Overall, I see a money hungry place that does not care about the people paying them and I've lived at several communities and this by far has been the worst.

Hidden Gem

A great place to live! Stayed here for a six month job, and coming back here was the best part of every day. The apartments are spacious, the landscaping is great, and it's definitely a family complex. During the day, kids play in their yards and an ice cream truck regularly runs through the neighborhood. At night, a security patrol drives through the complex until the wee hours. I've come back at 3 am and they were still at it! The office staff are helpful & friendly---they always seem glad to... see you. My one bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable, although the kitchen appliances may have been a little outdated. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Be cautious

The apartment itself is fairly modern. Also there is a fair amount of space depending on what you need. The staff is reasonable in response to any needed repairs. However it can be noisy often times with all the students.
