Pros:
- Area is normally quiet
- Wal-Mart is nearby
- Parking not much of an issue
- If they have the promotions going then the apartments are reasonably priced.
Cons:
Management doesn't take responsibility for failed utilities - I had an 800 dollar water bill. I was told to pay it and that they would look for the problem. It took 4 months and nearly 1000 dollars on my part. I had to discontinue wifi, cellular and cut down on food to make sure that I could make rent for 4 months. Which they... refused to waive. They told me that it was my fault despite both myself and Central Arkansas Water telling them that the amount of water was not natural for an apartment. It ended up being an underground leak on their side and they only took care of it after the leak spread to two more apartments. I was never compensated by the complex for the money that I spent. Central Arkansas Water ended compensating me despite it being the responsible complex.
Mold - It forms everywhere when you run the air conditioning.
Shoddy appliances- I had three outlets go out and they said 'they would get to it. Never did. Also, the fan below my apartment was faulty and created a humming noise as well as vibrated the floor enough that a cup of water showed it. Maintenance again said they would get to it. Never did.
Management itself doesn't acknowledge problems - My apartment was flooded by a neighbor with minor damage and the downstairs neighbors were complete losses in areas and neither maintenance nor management acknowledged the issue other than to tell the affected people that 'they should have renters insurance' despite it being their equipment that caused the issue.
Management doesn't take care of problem residents - My neighbor (who eventually left on their own, not because of the management) left rotting garbage, knives, broken appliances, and more outside their door. I asked them to take care of it. They refused and played loud music as a result at night. I complained to management. They did nothing.
Final thoughts:
The apartments are overpriced for the level of service the Links give. The management and the maintenance don't take care of issues and they have such a staff turnover that if you send emails to the staff, they will go unanswered as to its a good chance the person no longer works at the complex check that email.

I have been here for almost a year. In that time I have asked numerous times for them to clear off the leaves in front of our apartment, because when it rains, it clogs the drain and produces a foot of water in the parking lot. Invariably, one of us has to go out, stick our hands in disgusting water, and clear off the leaves. Additionally, there is mold year round, and bugs year round. The pool is never cleaned, just more chemicals put in. My neighbors are lovely and it is very safe. But,... do not expect anyone to respond to any issues you might have. And I sincerely doubt that I will get my security deposit back, even though we are extremely clean, due to the bug issue.

If you need a cheap place to live in a hurry then this is the place. They pretty much accept anyone. They even will take unemployment benefits as income. Just know that you get what you pay for. There are spiders, roaches, and other pest. Mold in the water from what the other residents said is true. After so long it will fall in the sink or your food or when brushing your teeth onto ur toothbrush from build up around the faucet.
Maintenance is pretty good on immediately coming to fix things....
Ventilation is not good. There are smokers. When I was told before I moved in I was in a smoke free building which the office later lied and said they never told me. The office staff is kind until you have a problem then they could careless about you.
Safety is good. I felt safe walking to and from my car at night. Noise complaints are pretty much taken care of by police.
At the end of your lease they will take your deposit and then say you owe them money even if you clean the apartment. DON'T expect to get any of it back!

Our dryer knob broke, took them 3 days after filing the notice for them to come look at it. They had to order the part, which was fine, except they didn't call or come back to tell us at all. No communication skills at all. So we had to contact them again to ask what was going on. Took 2 weeks to get a new knob for our dryer. They charge an enormous 'cleaning' fee that is taken out of your deposit, which we were fine with until we moved in and realized they are disgusting.. WE had to clean... everything from the cabinets, which has food still on them, to the doors (even bedroom doors had food on them still somehow..?) & we steam cleaned our carpets 4 times and the water was still black. The condensation is so bad now that the weather is getting colder that the water drips off the window seals onto the carpet, so no telling how much mold is growing under the carpet because we did not have new carpet when we moved in,(like we were told we would) and we have to clean the window seals weekly with bleach wipes to get off the awful amounts of black mold that are on the window seals. All they do when they come to 'clean' the mold is paint over it. My fiance sat and watched them. They didn't clean it at all before they painted over the mold. Gross. We have to clean our toilet and shower weekly because the mold grows back so fast. If you want clean apartments that are insulated correctly, DO NOT move here.. They're gross. Lease is up in a few month and we are buying a house. Can not wait to get out. THE only good thing about these apartments is the Gym being so close. I'd rather pay a gym membership fee than live here though.
