No Parking

Horrible Staff, infested with Cockroaches and scorpions. Parking is horrible especially in the front of the buildings. Pool is always closed.

Don't do it!

Dont waste your money renting here. The staff is incredibly incompetent and ignorant. I just got a notice to remove plants from my balcony wall. I don't even own any plants!!!! They don't ever fix anything, just cover it up like it needs a bandaid. I just found out my apartment has black mold and the precious tenants have a lawsuit against the company because of this. There is at least one more near me that has a lawsuit and my downstairs neighbors are pursuing the same. I have been flat out... lied to at move in, the apartment was obviously not cleaned and the a/c leaked for over a month before they must have gotten tired of my constant complaining and fixed it. Not before placing blame, mind you. The pool is closed constantly and parking is a nightmare. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Lovely neighborhood. Prompt Service.

We're pretty knew in the neighborhood. Since then, the staff consistently cater to our needs with prompt service. Thanks most especially to "Cassidy" and "Angela." They always make sure that everything's taken care of ahead of time. To me, the price is just right. Haven't had encounters with harmful insects or anything. Kudos to the team, the place, and the people behind PEM.

Scorpion Infestation

If you like scorpions, this is the place for you. I moved in at the end of May this summer. In under 7 months, I have had 27 scorpions (that I have found/killed) 2 of which stung me TWICE in my bed. I've lived in AZ my whole life and at my previous residence that was a few miles down the road, I saw a total of 3 in the year that I lived there. So I knew sightings were a possibility. But 27 is an infestation - NOT a sighting. Especially when you have 2 in your bed in a 4 month window of time. I... ended up staying at my parents for a week because I was so freaked out after getting stung the first time. I went on Amazon and ordered diatomaceous earth and a 30 pack of glue traps. The DE did nothing. The glue traps simply became my own sick collection of corpses. The office gave me the same song and dance every time I called: "We will put your name on the list to have your apartment sprayed by Burns Pest Control" and that was useless. I had my apartment sprayed every Monday and guess what? I still was collecting live scorpions and then got stung again. I tried everything under the sun - natural oils, etc. Thankfully, my co-worker told me about something they used to help with their problem and it seems to be working. But I move next month and couldn't be happier. Building 13 needs to be treated PROPERLY for a scorpion INFESTATION and not a garbage 'routine' pest spray that does nothing. Thank God I don't have small children or this could have become very ugly. 27 scorpions in under 7 months is something no one should have to live with, deal with, and have your landlord do nothing about. Be careful if you move in here because you'll get stuck since they trap you by having you sign a scorpion addendum. They obviously knew there was a problem when they snuck that into the lease agreement. I've signed multiple lease agreements with other places in the area and none of them had a scorpion addendum except for this place.

Terrible since PEM took ownership.

We enlisted our family all the way from Prescott to help us move. There was a total of 5 adults and 2 teenage boys ready to go with vehicles loaded by 10 am. We did get our keys at 10, only to find that the apartment was never cleaned after the last resident moved out. The girl working in the office openly admitted that she forgot to do the usual walk through. There was paint on the floor, bugs (dead and alive) everywhere, urine all over the toilet/bathroom, the fridge was unusable/unsanitary.... There had been absolutely nothing done to clean anything in the apartment. We know this because there was still trash and items left behind. Obviously we were not going to move in to a unit in this condition. Since we had family travel from Prescott, had already loaded vehicles, and had signed a lease for that specific unit 2 months earlier, we made it very clear that we needed to move in to the unit the same day due to all the reasons mentioned above. We made the woman in the office aware of the situation and she said her manager would be in within 20-30 minutes. This was a 10:30am. She continued to call/text her manager and kept telling us only “20 more minutes” though out the day. Her manager, Monica, did not end up arriving until approximately 3:00 pm. At this point, we had found several local cleaning companies who were available but Monica insisted they had to use one of their vendors and she was working on getting someone there same day so that we could move in. We asked her numerous times what time this “company” was coming to clean and she would never give us a time or any information on this cleaning “company”. We continued to receive the same “it’ll be done very soon” game with the office until around 7 pm. At this point, we went back to the office to speak with Monica in person. The office has a ton of large windows and glass French doors facing the pool. We could clearly see Monica and her granddaughter sitting in her office while we knocked on the door. Monica actually closed her blinds and tried to ignore us standing at the door for at least 15 minutes. We did eventually get the keys that night after Monica’s son(her granddaughter called him “Daddy”) finished cleaning the apartment. It turns out she didn’t need one of their “vendors” after all. After all of this, the only thing they did to “compensate” us was to not charge us for the first day in the new unit. The unit that we didn’t gain access to until 9pm….
