I feel like every time they come in to fix something, they mess something else up.

They don’t notify you when a package has been delivered, first apartment complex I’ve ever lived in that does not.

They rarely have community events. I have to escalate over the property manager if I want to feel like something is being resolved.

Deceiving

First, the good. It’s very close to the shuttle bus stop to ASU so if you don’t drive, it’s convenient.

Now, here’s where it gets spicy. They kicked out all the good maintenance guys, pictures on this site are misleading and the apartments here aren’t really that nice. They’ll add fees accordingly to their will to the rent. I’ve paid for pest control since moving in and always had pests even though I keep my apartment clean. Very noisy being by the road. People always park in my assigned spot....
The entrance gate serves no purpose because people tailgate and enter. The gate doesn’t work three out of four week in a month. They’ll charge you late fees even for a day late. My car mirrors got stolen from this “gated community”. There are tons of people living here who are not on the lease. Smells of curry fill the passages as inconsiderate people cook here. My car got scratched. Doors always have random flyers stuck out. The gym is an absolute sorry excuse for a gym. Only two cardio machines and they want an additional deposit before you access it. They don’t always inform you if you receive a package. Laundry room always had leftover clothes in the machines. The 7-11 in front of this apartment had a stabbing a couple months ago. Google it up. There are always police cars at this complex for every reason you can possibly imagine. Assault, vandalism, theft and domestic violence are common here. No actual security guards during any hours. There are people parked in the complex but they don’t even live there. Rent isn’t really cheap compared to what they offer, you’ better off looking elsewhere. The staff just moved to a new office from an apartment which was their old office and are pretty big headed about that. The pools are dirty, you can smell marijuana down the walkways in the apartment and dog poop surrounding the community just adds a shitty touch. Not to mention, there’s actually only one entrance but three exits. Its a pain to get it and out during certain hours. I never leave my doors unlocked and windows open because my neighbor’s TV and PlayStation got stolen. Everyone living here is really grumpy overall. Lots of sketchy people all around. The speed humps in the complex are retardedly steep. They’re made to break your suspension. My lease ends in a few months, I can’t wait to move out by this fall.

Great location

This is one of the best apartments I have lived. The rent is affordable and the staff is super pleasant. They are doing renovations and upgrades to different aspects of the community and it is constantly kept clean. One thing I wish they would upgrade would be putting barbecue grills back in. Summer is here and there is nothing like a good summer cook out.

Hello, Thank you for the positive review. Thank you for your patience with our renovation process of our office and up and coming fitness facility and WIFI café. I am sorry for the BBQ's being taken out however we are looking to replace them with... newer, cleaner and spread throughout the community in multiple locations not just the 2 areas they were at. Please come by any time to our office for more updates on what we are planning to do to make your community better than ever!

Sincerely, Anita

Worst place to live..management is too bad

If you want a life free from unnecessary tension then dont think about moving to this place. The mangement is not at all good. They are inconsidrarte and just want to mint money from people for some wierd reasons of their own. They are so rude and doesn't know how to deal with their tenants. They know every possible way to charge you extra without any good reason. I am forced to give 1 star otherwise I cant submit this review

Hello, I am very sorry you had such a bad experience at our community. I see this review was written prior to takeover by new management on 8/1/16. If you are a current resident I hope your experiences have improved as we strive to make our residents... happy. As you may have noticed the improvements we have made to the exteriors and interiors. If you do still live here please stop by sometime and let me talk with you about what we can do to make your stay with us a better one.

Sincerely, Anita Garcia

Really bad experience

I have lived here for 1 year and have had nothing but trouble living here. The management is just horrible and would not reply to any emails, phone calls and are never in the office when you go to their information center. They goofed up about our lease over the 60-day notice and we have had to pay 11k extra!!! Their attitude is just vile, greedy, scheming and rude. Had paid attention to previous reviews, I would never have rented an apartment here.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to write a review about our community. Since Shelton-Cook Real Estate Services took over management of Omnia on 8th Street, formerly Foxfire, this community has come leaps and bounds. It sounds as though you have... already moved out however if you are ever in the area please stop by and see the changes we have made since takeover 8/1/16. I know you'll be impressed and if ever in the future you are looking for a new home again I'd hope you'd consider choosing us.
Sincerely, Anita
