McClellan Terrace Apartments

I recently lived in this apartment complex, and I have to say—don’t be fooled by the new paint job! The building itself is very old, and it shows in multiple ways. One of the biggest issues is the black mold that keeps showing up in the restrooms & Shelfs, windows. If you do decide to live here, make sure to ask management for monthly mold cleanups before signing the lease. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck dealing with it yourself.

Another major problem is the noise from the highway. It’s constant,... especially at night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. If you’re sensitive to noise, this is definitely not the place for you.

Since new management has taken over, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing before committing to a lease. Don’t assume that just because they’ve repainted the units, they’ve fixed the underlying issues. Do a thorough inspection and ask about ongoing maintenance.

I had a chance to tour the place with my friend recently. Mindy was so friendly and kind with us. We are still deciding but would love to express our thanks to her for the wonderful tour.

Lincoln Elementary School, Kennedy Middle School, Monta Vista High School and DeAnza College are all with in the walkable distance. It's a great place to live. Front office manager Dinnah responds promptly and really helpful.
Maintenance staff responds well. Now we can pay the rent online which is great.

The new management increased rent way higher and moved the all utilities bills to the renter to pay, given that , these are old apartments, not good security , cars break happening and bicycle theft etc, no proper kids play area, I wont advice this apartment complex for the new hunters .

The apartment is a great place to live. Manager and maintenance team respond to all the requests promptly. Wonderful place very well maintained, and we are enjoying living here. All the schools Lichon Elementary, Kennedy Middle and Monta Vista High are walkable and it perfect for all age groups. De Anza college is just opposite. Club house with recreation is there can do parties and get togethers. Play area, green area, gym and swimming pool are there. There is walk trail next to the complex.
