Look elsewhere!

This apartment is not even worth living in for free. Maintenance and Steven are the only good representatives of the apartment. Management gets changed weekly/biweekly. If you enjoy the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke filling the entire apartment this is the right apartment for you! Apartments are old and dusty, I dust weekly and manage to have dust in the apartment. Parking spots are covered in dirt and run down. The only reason that they had occupants was because it is located near CSUF... .

Our apartment flooded and they moved us to a new apartment and only paid $300 for moving costs. Movers cost $150+ per hour with a minimum of 3 hours. Although I lost countless of hours moving, working, and living in hotels I still didn't bother them for restitution. My bed had to be replaced due to the water damage. I tried reasoning with management regarding our living situation and they wouldn't budge. We are filing a lawsuit and will recoup lost wages/damages.

Every low review is accurate about Sturbridge Village. If you look at their page, they have over 10 apartments available. Everyone is moving out because CSUF is closed.

Good place to live!

My husband and I have lived here for a little over a year and we like it a lot, we just renewed our lease and we love the management here. They are always in top of it. We give 4 starts because some of the residents are really careless and throw trash anywhere they feel like it. Management always keeps it clean for the most part. In a good area too, there's a target and albertsons right across the street. We love it!

Stupendous Village

I've lived at Sturbridge Village for about 2 months now. We came back to live here after 2 years because we were happy tenants. I really love how spacious the living room area is for both the 1 and 2 bedrooms (we lived in a 1 bedroom, currently in a 2 bedroom). The neighbors here are pretty courteous. It's quiet for the most part, the occasional kid playing, which is nice-since I have my one year old to be. I appreciate how accommodating the leasing office is. Huge plus is that 2 bedroom gets 2... parking spots with no extra charge! We're close to everything. Target, Albertsons, Ralph's, etc. Really enjoy living here.

Mr. Direct's review

Pros:
-Nice manager, she has been very friendly and helpful so far
-Nice common area (swimming pool, bbq, rec room(not gym), laundry room.
-Walking distance to everything: Albertson's, Target, Daisao, shopping plazas, Tacobell, gas stations etc.
-Train station is close (<5 miles?)
-Walking distance to several schools
-Semi gated parking (better than nothing)
-Service repair request is fast.

Cons:
-The hard to come by guest parking is limited to 6hrs when it used to be more
-Street parking is...
rare (if u work a normal 9-5)
-Limited paid parking space
-Trash is always full
-The area directly south of this complex seems less safe
-Semi gated parking( all they need is a front gate)
-My ground floor studio has no windows. It gets really hot during the summer nights, there is only a front door and a rear patio door. Keeping the rear patio door open and unlock at night feels unsafe to me. Granted if you have to budget to use the AC unit every night, this would not be a issue.

Conclusion:
I would recommend this location to my friends and family.

Great for Students and Familes

I have lived here about six years and I really like this place. I have a studio apartment which is perfect for my needs. The layout of this studio is cozy and doesn't feel claustrophobic. The apartment comes with a balcony that has plenty of room for a table and chairs and lots of space for plants. Each apartment comes with AC and a security screen door. Each apartment comes with an assigned parking space with optional overhead storage in covered parking areas. This apartment is also pet... friendly.

The landscape is kept clean and beautiful. There are two pools and a play area for kids. BBQ's are located near the pool area for outside cooking.

This apartment complex is walking distance to Cal State Fullerton and not far from Fullerton College. This location offers plenty of shopping and food choices. For pet lovers, there is a veterinary clinic just a few blocks away. Bus stops are within walking distance.

This has turned out to be a great place to live. I hope to stay here for several more years.
