The Diplomat Apartments in Lompoc

Where do I start, when I first lived there they were nice and worked with tenants, especially with credit issues and rent was affordable. four years later, The Diplomat took over, made all these renovations (which were nice) but now we all pay for that cost in our increased rent by $300 and now we all pay our own water trash and the sewer is prorated between apartments and that is upwards of $100 per bill each month, its so ridiculous. They have saved 1/3 of apartments to rent to the field... workers who are disrespectful and loud and I am sure do not pay what other tenants pay each month. They have re decorated the front office and I hears our rent will be increasing to pay for that cost as well. I like some of the improvements, but it seems like we are all paying for all of it and the landlord is pocketing the profits and not paying a cent. This was a good community at one point and the prices were reasonably affordable because living in Santa Barbara is too expensive, they are slowly raising the rent like it is SB. We can no longer afford to live in the complex.
