DO NOT waste time applying here. This management company is absolutely horrible. They have been stung by people during covid and taking it out on any prospective newcomer by making them just thru hoops. They will run your credit and do backround checks, ask for your tax records, other records showing you paid taxes, your bank account records so they know every dollar you have, make or owe. Even if you dont owe a thing besides student loans, they will then ask for a co signer and that co signer... will have to go thru the same hoops of showing their taxes, bank records etc. The manager is sweet but the management company will waste your time thus making you lose out on other opportunities. Theres a REASON why the price is good and its still available. Dont buy into the hype. Good apartment, great manager, horrible management company. I lost another great place because this process took so long. Dont make the same mistake

Excellent location and units have been newly remodeled. New appliances as well. Also has amenities like a gym and pool (although they are small) which come in handy.

The manager will not respond to you unless you call the emergency line... here are just a few examples of why she was contacted...
1. Frequently the parking garage is broken into you can expect your windows to get busted and she will have no responsibility nor will she let you know this prior to moving. In addition, it typically happens late at night. She will change your garage code. If you are required to be at work before she desires to wake up and respond to a text then you can expect to be... locked in the garage and late for work. This was not a one-time thing but instead a handful of occurrences in less than a year.
2. When you live anywhere it is common knowledge for your landlord to notify all residents of changes in their parking garage codes, major construction, water outages, etc. She for whatever reason does not believe this is part of her job description. Once the entire front door was shattered. We as residents use our phones to get in the front door...Once again she failed to notify anyone. So if we talked across the street to Starbucks as many of us did you were locked out. I myself was locked out for nearly 2 hours and through the same day had to let in at least 7 other residents who were locked out due to her lack of communication.
3. During covid when everyone was working from home using zoom she failed to notify anyone that she was going to test the fire alarms for 4 hours. I was in the middle of a live recording having no idea the alarms would be endlessly sounding.
4. Maintenance left the hose running in the pool. It started flooding the third floor (my floor) I ran upstairs and turned the hose off for her. She walked to the pool deck and attempted to accuse me of turning the hose on and flooding my floor.
5. She takes zero responsibility for any of her errors and there are more than I feel like mentioning. It is no exaggeration to say something like these occurrences happened several times each month for more than a year.
RHB should consider new management if they cared anything about their residents at 11730 Sunset.

I’ve lived in a few places in Brentwood over the years, and this one was by far my favorite. Solid building/location for the price. Units are renovated, building is clean, management is accommodating. Just be careful about selecting the specific unit location within the building - the units facing sunset or the shops are obviously going to be louder. Mine was facing the courtyard and I can only describe it as serene.
