Great amenaties, disorganized property
The amenities here are amazing; the reason I decided to sign a lease. However, they're often rented out to the general public. When the building hosts a party or event for groups that don't live in the apartment, the parking fills up, guests are permitted to use the elevators and roam the building, and the roof is reserved without access. The building has a fire alarm system that goes off on a regular basis. Their policy of no smoking isn't being enforced, and the system goes off regularly in... the middle of the night. Our water has been shut off several times in the last month for repairs, often for 8-10 hours at a time. The chairs and cabanas on the roof aren't cleaned and are covered in stains after only a few months of being there. I've caught front desk security asleep on the job several times. There's plenty of added fees in the contract. Including a package holding fee if you're out of town on a weekend, and a management fee you pay to a third party to handle your utilities. I've been overcharged by mistake every month I've been here, and it's my responsibility to contact management to adjust it to what the lease agreement says (often pressing them for weeks with an overdue balance). I've lived all over the country moving often with the military, and this apartment is one of the least organized and frustrating experiences I've had.
