Yeah the building is newish and looks nice
Thats about it.
vandalism occur around the property. Only one elevator in the building. The loudest environment i have lived in. Never was able to leave windows open for more than a few minutes. The location is practically on top of the train tracks. Thankfully the trains are no longer blaring horns 24/7, the noise from pedestrians and businesses is still non stop. If you like the idea of your neighbors never talking to you or knowing your name this place might be for you. I was sold a warm... friendly community upon renting. That’s definitely not true. The rental companies will literally say whatever it takes to get you to sign a lease. Thats what salt taught me. And then they will nickel and dime you with a smile. Did about a year and that was more than enough. I died laughing when the letter came that they are increasing rent and left. Wasted enough money.

Very sorry to hear your experience was unpleasant. Yes, the building is downtown Oceanside built next to a train track, two blocks from the beach and one block from the weekly Farmer's Market. For some, this is "Location, location location!" For... others that are noise sensitive, the activity represents a sound disruption. Our management company did not lease to you. Therefore; I cannot say what was implied or promised. I can say that as new units are leased today; prospective residents are told to look around and walk the neighborhood. The building cannot hide the fact that a train track is behind it or it is built around a public parking garage over a restaurant and other businesses. I hope you have found a home more suited to your needs.
