Bad experience. Want deposit back
I went last Thursday(12/29/2022) to see and apply for an apartment and gave a $500 deposit. Daniel told me that I would have the answer in 72 hours.But afetar 6 days they asked for more documents and yesterday(01/06/2023) in a phone call he said I was approved and just need to wait for the link to make the first rent payment.
Today I received an email asking me for an additional deposit. I called the office to see what happened because I trusted the employer saying I was approved Now he wants... that I cancel or make the additional deposit because they cannot give my deposit back
He also said that in our phone call didn’t said nothing. That’s not true I just want my deposit back because if I am approved I don’t need to give additional deposit
