Noisy, Trashy & Going Downhill Fast

I genuinely enjoyed living here when I first moved in, but ever since the management change a couple years ago, it's been getting worse and worse. If you enjoy a loud environment where dogs bark all day non-stop, people blasting their music so loud your walls shake, kids banging on your walls, and all the trash that now floats around this complex; well then this is the place for you. Trashy disrespectful neighbors, loud dogs who aren't being controlled, parking spots that you pay for being... consistently taken by people who don't even live here, and more! Nothing good is being upheld in this complex anymore. It's getting worse and worse as time goes on. The most redeeming quality is the shopping center across the street, and that doesn't say much. This place needs an overhaul to make it how it used to be, and soon. If you value a respectable, quiet, and peaceful home, do not live here.

Good luck.

Please believe the bad reviews when you see them. They are there for a reason. I thought this place was beautiful when I moved in. After living there for 6 months, I realized there were BED BUGS in my apartment. I brought it to the managers attention. The entire process was handled horribly. After the exterminators came and handled everything (over a month long process which was extremely stressful), the complex billed my roommate and I for $2,900. This caused tension between my roommate and I,... as neither of us wanted to take responsibility for the bill. The complex threatened to "take further action" if we did not pay it in a specific amount of time. Because of the extreme tension it caused in my household, I chose to pay the $2,900 bill and move out of the complex. In addition, they would not allow me to break the lease (because my roommate would not agree to). With all the stress, I just wanted to get out and ended up paying double rent for over 3 months to avoid continuing to live here. I'm out over $6,000 because of this place. - In addition, I wasn't informed when the walk through would occur when the lease ended. I went in multiple times to see about receiving my deposit back (which included $350 for pet rent that I was told I'd get back). I highly recommend choosing another apartment. However, if you choose to reside here, I wish you all the luck because it's a gamble.

Don't Waste Your Time

Don't waste your time here. I was told by Nick that all I would need to get approved was to apply. I asked and verified three different times because I know the situation I'm in and I was assured I'd get approved. I should've known if it sounded too good to be true it was. I was informed the next day by Amy that Nick was in training and all the information he provided to me was incorrect, that I would in fact need to get rental history from my current landlord. I let Amy know that I currently... have a fair housing case going against my complex which is why I'm moving and that their review would be poor of me. She assured me that the only thing needed from them was verification of my monthly rent and if I was ever late (which I never am). She then told me I needed to put in a 30 day notice to my current landlord (which I never do, until I am approved) in order to get approved with them. She also told me that I was approved with conditions, all they were waiting for was the landlord disclosure. Today I get a call, stating that I was denied due to rental history, which of course I knew would happen. Yolanda told me she couldn't tell me what was said. Had I not been misinformed by not only Nick, but Amy, I wouldn't have even applied. Now I lost out on $102.00 and I have no place to live come the 6th. Thank you Canyon Crest Views.

DO NOT LIVE HERE

They slapped a fresh coat of paint on this dump but do not be fooled. Homeless people walk around and go through the trash every day. My car was broke into twice in the same month. Construction materials laying around everywhere, constant water shut offs. The staff left an OPEN razor blade on my patio and my two year old found it. The staff here will treat you like an animal once they get your signature.
