Best deal in the neighborhood!
I’ve lived 2bd/1bath at Hacienda for almost 9 years. I’ve thought about moving a few times within that time, but it’s definitely the best deal in the area with a large master bedroom & walk-in closet, living room, and balcony.
The kitchen has upper & lower cabinet storage, but there is minimal counter space & limited spacing for items such as a microwave, coffee make, dish rack, etc; however, there’s plenty of space for a medium to large kitchen table. There’s one coat closet in the... family/living room and a linen closet in the hallway (that’s pretty much it for storage). The bathroom is small and the space could have been utilized better — There’s one towel rack, a hand towel holder, one pull out drawer under the counter w/ two shelves below, and some storage space under the sink. There’s a vanity w/ a sink & one drawer in the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has two spacious double closets.
Due to the placing of the vents in my apartment, the AC/Heat doesn’t circulate well in the home, so the family/living room is always colder/hotter than the rest of the apartment — If the AC is on, it will be freezing in every room but the family/living room. Also, the apartment only has single-pane windows, so they don’t keep in the cool/warm air efficiently, and they don’t block out any street/business sounds, which is a bummer, because the apartment is directly behind a car dealership — beyond the normal loud sounds of washing, fixing, & moving cars, you’ll also get the added bonus of listening to inconsiderate workers blast music very loudly during the day (and sometimes sing loudly along with it — off tune.lol.), which was really frustrating while working from home during the pandemic.
In my time here, I have found Management to always be professional, friendly, and responsive. They’ve always handled any maintenance issues very quickly. They have two staff that clean the grounds each weekday morning (e.g., sweeping/mopping the walkways & entryways, picking up trash, etc.), and gardeners that come weekly.
A lot of children live in this complex and sometimes leave trash everywhere — it gets cleaned up quickly by staff. As can happen when children are playing & enjoying being kids, there can be a lot of loud talking, screaming, laughing, or even crying (I’ve heard some good temper tantrums during my time); however, most kids appear to be indoors by the time the sun goes down.
I feel pretty safe in this complex. It’s pretty quiet at night & no random “guests” w
