UNSOUND-PROOF Apartment

This apartment is completely UNSOUND-PROOF, and you'll never get a quiet moment. It was the worst months of my life, and I was tortured to a mental breakdown. You can never rest here or enjoy the wonderful moments of life. I have been suffering from the noise since the first day I moved in. I could hear them walking, opening and closing doors, and every word they said. At first, I thought my ears were too sensitive, so I wore headphones and earplugs. Headphones and earplugs didn't give me a... moment of peace. Yes, their voices can penetrate the earplugs. There is no difference between ceilings and walls and cardboard here. You can clearly hear every word your upstairs says. And you have to get up when they get up because once they get up and start walking or talking, you can hear them. You have no freedom to live here. Your life needs to be carried out according to the routine of your upstairs. Yes, I understand that these may be developers' problems. But the manager here will tell you that you deserve it. Because you signed a one-year contract and you live in a shared environment, you deserve to live like this. They came to my house and heard the sound with their own ears, and then they thought it was no big deal. They'll tell you there's nothing they can do. Oh, the manager also said he never guaranteed it would be quiet. In other words, he doesn't care if you can sleep. The construction of the building is horrible. I think if the overpass is not the only place you can choose, you'd better not come. I understand that maybe there's nothing the manager can do, at least don't tell me I deserve it. In fact, they can let me move to another apartment or communicate effectively with my upstairs to at least be quiet after 10 PM. But I took the initiative to do all this. After I talked with my upstairs neighbor, they told me that they were talking and walking normally and not deliberately loudly. It proves once again how bad the sound insulation of the house here is. I know my comments may not shake your choice in this tense house environment, but please stop and think. If you live on the first floor here, you will be too tortured by the noise in this house at any minute. If you live on a higher floor, you will lose all your privacy, because your neighbors downstairs know what you are doing and what you have said every day.

Sumida gqrdens

I have been here for over 3 years and has no problem . It's very convenient it's 5 Minutes to work and good school for my daughter . The apartment has its own washer and dryer hook ups . Plenty of parking spaces . Close to everything , shopping center , university and theaters . It's safe neighborhood and friendly neighbors . The management is quick to fix any problems . I understand that rents in Santa barbara is very expensive but being a single mom I'm still hoping to find an... affordable apartment that is decent and safe like Sumida apartment . Or maybe Ivey lucky to win rent free for life . Thank you !
