Apartment Living
I have lived here since 2019. The property itself is not a problem. They were quick to fix any issues that I had. I had one problem with the AC being broken 3 different times and the 3rd time resulted in a three week wait. I truly believe that was because of the owners, not the property manager. I did have it out with them, and it eventually was fixed.
I think a lot of these complaints are unwarranted. I have noticed a lot of trash and other things piling up however I also know they have tried... unsuccessfully to hire people for those tasks. The laundry room issue is on the residents as much as it is on the staff. Don't throw dirty food wrappers on the floor and clean up after yourself. Take some of the responsibility and don't expect others to clean up after grown adults. Make sure the door is locked and shut when you leave to prevent unwanted people wandering in there and making messes. The maintenance crew and supervisor can only do so much, and they can't watch everyone 24/7. They respond to things as fast as they can.
The property manager and assistant are busy taking care of the property and the residents. They are doing the best they can with what they have. I too work in a management position, in a different field, and I can see how hard it is to hire and keep staff when literally NOBODY wants to work right now. I think we are all humans and need to give credit where it is due. The reality is that apartment living is sometimes a pain. I feel safe here, for the most part, and the things that occur are not in their control. Let's not put things on them that they cannot control. This FPI property has had the highest ratings of all the properties in this area, and that is because of Tiffany and her staff (what staff she does have). Be human and give them some grace. They have given me grace many times, most recently when I had a change in my pay dates. Tiffany, you and your staff are doing great, and I wanted you to know that someone notices that.
