Growing
The building is not complete and is going through improvements still to bring it on line. Also, residents are being incentivized $1,000 in rent credits to bring others in who sign a lease, so that’s something to consider when reading reviews. The building is still off-gassing so it smells really strongly, especially in the elevators and hallways. After move in connections to our dishwasher and washing machine had to be fixed. There was an issue with a bath leak into our closet from the unit... above us. We have the unit design with the dark push open cabinets in the kitchen and the fingerprints left behind just to cook are a life lesson to everyone why cabinet handles or cutouts are normal. Also, the cabinets are so narrow and deep, without slider bins built in, that the kitchen is a significant annoyance to me as an avid cook just under 5’4”. We’re also still adjusting to the stove top, which is just electric glass and not actually convection. The heat temp numbers basically don’t align to anything normal in the US, so we’re still figuring it out. We’ll also be happy when the pool is complete.
The onsite staff are very lovely, including all the maintenance staff. The view is wonderful, tho dust builds up fast on the balcony surface and sometimes the river smells very foul. I love access to the Platte trail. The master bed/bath is peaceful, noise is almost non-existent.
We do feel cut off from the heart of RiNo and FivePoints but it is easy to zip around places and Little Raven and Confluence Park are just a jog down the Platte Trail. We’re really hoping the neighborhood grows. It’s very transitional at the moment and lots of the local breweries- like blue moon - close for private events so we get out less now than when we walked places from Whittier to the RiNo Market and other places.
