it’s an okay starting location

This was my family’s 1st apartment together since we moved here from California. During our time here, it wasn’t always sunshine n rainbows. Me and my wife have seen things happening during the night that made us 2nd guess our apartment location. Going towards the end our lease, management changed their leasing terms and expected us to follow them as a new contract when we were not even notified of the change. Once our fireplace went out, we felt like we kept getting the run around from the... staff that it would be fixed before winter because they needed to replace a valve to keep it goin. Fireplace never got fixed, more than likely they waited till our lease was up to replace it and made us look at the staff different since we were told to just use our thermostat for heat. We kept asking on a weekly basis what’s the status of our work order for our fireplace? Only response we received was, “the part is on back order”, “we don’t know when it’ll be available, “we’re still waiting to hear back from the manufacturer on the part we need”. After these issues, never again with this location. No communication whatsoever

Very very loud. Car repair businesses, semi truck parking lot.

The units are nice, most have been renovated recently. We waited for a unit on the top floor to mitigate the noise of footsteps above our head, but found out that doesnt matter. You can hear people and kids below you closing every door, talking/screaming, and footsteps everytime they're not walking. Parents leave kids screaming and playing on balconies all day, as well as their barking dogs. All sound echoes between the buildings and is very easily heard inside with all windows closed. This goes... on all day and well passed the quiet time of 10 pm and management does not intervene. Today, crews started grinding out concrete before 8a.m.. The neighbor across from us operates an automotive repair business out of his garage so there is constant metal grinding, hammering, and engines being revved. When i called the leasing office, they said there was nothing they could do, even though the lease states word for word that no automotive repair is allowed on property. If you return after 9 pm, you will struggle to find a parking spot near your building. Late at night, there are no parking spots available. The lot is always full of busses, box trucks, and 3-8 semi trucks, making it difficult to park and see around turns. This has all happened for over a year now. Management isn't any help in resolving the issues. We have submitted 3 maintenance requests since moving in 16 months ago, maintenance has only showed up once.

If you need to sleep outside of 12a-6a, good luck! If you plan on sitting on your balcony, good luck! This property can not be relaxing with the literal nonstop screaming, barking, and construction noise.

Rife with screaming children, vehicle theft and vandalism, and poop EVERYWHERE

I don't love living here. If your idea of "luxury living" is screaming children in the courtyards, vehicle theft and vandalism, loud parties, car alarms going off at all hours, the stench of weed filling the halls, piles of trash flung all over the dumpster bays, filthy stairwells, and dog and bird poop literally everywhere, and ice all over the side walks they don't even bother to clean, then look no further than Indigo Creek in Thornton, CO. This place is rife with unsupervised screaming... children and management does nothing about it. They don't do anything about anything here. For the price we pay to live here, they should enforce the rules but they won't because the management are residents themselves. Any time someone complains about the children they just get offended and do nothing. Terribly unprofessional. And they can't keep office staff. We're constantly getting text messages saying to come work for them, that they have openings. I already have a job, obviously because the rent is so high, I don't need them to solicit me to work for them. Just stay away, I can't wait to get my family out of this dump.

I love it here

I moved in, in Indigo Creek apartments at the start of this year. It’s my first apartment, as well as my boyfriend’s, and I can honestly say we chose the best place to start this journey. Our neighbors are lovely, quite, and respectful. The office staff is very friendly and attentive. I put in a service order once and it was taken care of hours after I submitted it. I love the location because is not far from many stores, but far enough to get away from the noise. It’s perfect.

Great apartment living

We have lived here for 2 months since selling our house. The only complaints we have are: 1) the neighbors above us are loud at times, but that's what happens when you live in the second floor, 2) having to pay for parking, this is understandable though to prevent people from parking here that do not live here and I am always able to find a spot close to my building, 3) not every pet owner cleans up after their pet, this is my biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5, as my dog has now been to... the vet twice due to a bacterial infection. I wish there was something management could do to fine those who are not being courteous to the rest of the dog owners. They even have stations with the dog poop bags and trash cans in our courtyard but I still have to watch to ensure I don't step in a mess left behind by a disrespectful dog owner. Everyone has been great, maintenance has taken care of every little request that has been made and the office staff are great. If you're looking for a place to rent, speak with Shandra or Kenzie, they have always taken the time to answer every silly question this first time renter has had.
