Ghosted

While I really wanted to rent an apartment here, it was near IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of management. For two weeks, I tried emailing and calling to no avail to check on the status of my application. All I got was radio silence. Even when I had my virtual tour, the staff showed up late. After deciding to go with another apartment complex, which approved my application within a day, they approved me three weeks later! Unacceptable in my book.

Definition of poor management (from a tenant perspective)

Read carefully before signing any paperwork. They will tell you it is "standard", it is not. Office does not seem to want to contact residents for important matters (even though they have all contact info), yet any late notifications are automatically in the managements favor, per the lease. Management was ok years ago, but has fallen far. Maintenance is the only good thing about this place, no complaints there.

Overpriced in the area for subpar offerings and shady management. Oh, and you need...
to pay almost $5 a load for laundry too.

Inexpensive, Best Management

I moved in here last year when I was new to the area.

The location of this apartment is close to all the major amenities around the Groton area. Parking was never a problem even when I got off work around 7 or 8pm.

The best part of this apartment is the amazing management team, which is incredibly hard to find in an apartment complex today. The few minor issues that I did have with my place, were immediately fixed that day, and they were fixed right. Noise was never a problem. Whenever I had a...
question, the building manager Karen would always be quick to answer and was extremely helpful and insightful.

The building itself is older, but very well maintained. When you get inside you would never guess how old the building actually is. My studio is freshly painted with new carpets. Another convenience was the multiple washers and dryers on each floor, that actually washed and dried in one run.

Overall, if I wasn't moving out of state, I would rate this 5/5 and renew my lease if I could. They could not have made it a more enjoyable experience.

Good place, would recommend

Lived here 4 years. The location is good for easy access to I-95 and downtown Groton. I visited several places when moving to the area, chose it for good price / sq ft, good condition, and open floor plan. Have had very few maintenance issues and those have been taken care of with a simple phone call. The way the buildings are built and since it's free for residents to run the heat, it always tends to be warm inside from fall through spring. In the summer, you can be comfortable (in a 1BR) for... up to ~ $100 extra / mo of AC use. Parking is never a problem; the spaces right against the buildings commonly fill up, but then you can just park in the lower levels of parking. Noise is overall good. You can hear dogs barking, if there's a wild party, if someone's really got their speakers cranked, and occasionally there's a creaking sound from the building, but you can't hear too much normally- I've certainly lived in noisier places.
