Poor Management

The apartments are managed poorly. There was a leak in my apartment caused by negligence of the maintenance team and I was not notified about it. I walked in to fans and humidifiers late at night. I had to go to the leasing office to find out what happened. After asking to be communicated with about what was being done with my apartment, I did not receive any information. It’s been three weeks and I still have not received anything in writing about what happened nor has the property manager... called me back after multiple attempts to reach out to her. I even went into the office and was told she was taking a lunch break at 5:30 in which the office closes at 6:00. Not to mention the multiple car break ins that happen throughout the complex. The gate is always broke as well, and I had to fight with roaches the whole time there. This apartment complex is poorly managed and needs to do better. To this day I still have not been contacted and was told that I would multiple times!

Roaches!

I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a safe, clean home ran by a professional management company keep looking.
I currently live at The Parke at Oakley Apartments I have been fighting a roach infestation for two months. The property manager has not responded with any real urgency to my problem. Whenever I call the office I am informed that the property manager is in a”meeting.” I was told at one time that she preferred to be receive emails rather respond to calls. I have emailed her...
about 8 times requesting help and providing pictures to substantiate the seriousness of my issue. I receive no response. I call and the staff takes a message and I never receive a call back. I have went to the office only to be told that once again she is unavailable . The residents here pay $10 a month for pest control.
At one time the property manager promised me that the owner of the pest control company would come out and that she would personally accompany him to ensure that he inspected my unit. That promise was never met. After weeks of miscommunication and mishaps, the same ole technician arrived and spent less than 4 minutes in my apartment. When I called the office to ask if he left any recommendations I was told I would receive a call back the next day. That was a week ago. I have had to bomb, spray, cork, even sprinkle rosemary around my apartment in hopes of getting rid of the infestation. I no longer feel comfortable in my own home. I am always on edge waiting for a roach to appear. I no longer have company over.
I haven’t given up the getting my leasing office to do right by me as a tenant and take care of this issue. I have lived here for four years and never encountered a problem like this before. I have lived here through at least the change of three property owners and mangers. I have never experienced this type of unprofessionalism in all my time here. They did give me a partial credit on my rent for one month. That did make me feel a little better at the time because i took it as an indication that they understood how this issue has impacted my life. However, I would gladly pay my rent in full in exchange for some real help and the possibility of once again feeling at home in my apartment.

I am in the process of determining my legal rights as a tenant. All I can say is I do not recommend living in this complex at this time unless you don’t mind roaches, spotty air conditioning, and pit-bulls roaming around off leash.

Scam Run Far Away

This complex is the worst I’ve ever seen it has trash all throughout the parking area, dog poop everywhere, bugs are living here more than the residents. Staff are rude and do not give valid information. They increase rent without proper notice or reason. Fire alarms go off for hours and the power goes out in the entire complex. DO NOT LIVE HERE

Oakley Apartments

I like the area I'm in, and everyone here is so nice to be around,from the office to the ones work here always ready to give those around a helping hand, no matter what the problem maybe. I'm blessed to be living here at Oakley apartment, this is a nice to live at with so many wonderful person to be around.
