Awful!!!
BEAVER RUIN YOUR LIFE RD!!!! Do not get catfished by these apartments. My fiancé and I had to relocate from CT fairly quickly for his job and unfortunately had to rely solely on photos (big mistake). We arrived on Jan 1st, the leasing office was not open due to the holiday, one of the staff members hid the key for us under the mat (along with "extra charges" we were not told about, come to find out they were charges we already paid). We finally got into our apartment, tried to turn on the first... hallway light which was broken, took a few steps into the living room and immediately saw 2 roaches crawling on the carpet and a third crawling up the wall. The kitchen was a disgusting disaster- knife cut marks all across the counter tops and missing pieces to the counter tops, ice maker would not stop making ice (we literally had a freezer filled to the top with ice we had to keep emptying), cabinets were completely uneven and did not close all the way, overspray of paint everywhere. All of the vents had car freshener inserts in them to try to mask the disgusting smell. Crayon marks on the walls. Roaches crawling up the wall in the bedroom. Mold everywhere. Front door does not shut all the way.....I could literally go on forever. Needless to say, we delayed our moving company because there was no way I was bringing any of my furniture into that dump..
The next day, when the leasing office opened we spoke to the manager, who admitted to not checking the apartment before move-in. She proceeded to tell me to "calm down and stop being defensive" after driving 1700 miles to walk into a roach infested disaster and then being asked for more money on top of it. We didn't even need to show pictures to get a full refund because it honestly seems like they've been through this countless times before. I don't know how management can sleep at night doing this to people, it's baffling and they should be ashamed of themselves. DO BETTER!!!
