If you have another option, do not move here
They were great...for the first 6 months was here. I have lived here for almost 3 years and have lived in 2 different apartments within the complex. To begin with, when they tell you a classic is just as nice as a renovated, just without some cosmetic updates, do not believe them. I moved from a renovated to a classic and it is literally falling apart. Half the doors don't work/are off track, the railing on the stairs was literally not attached to the wall (hello safety hazard), the wall around... the vents had to be rebuilt when they took a vent off because it was falling apart and the patio door takes the weight of a fully grown man to open because it's so stuck. There's also an ant infestation in the whole building they knew about before I moved in that they never mentioned. I can't tell you how much pet and people food I've had to throw out because they've gotten in (because we are still fighting it a year later). And I've toured other classics in the complex and see similar problems, so it is not just this one. My sister was looking for a place to live recently and asked for a tour and they literally made her drive to the apartment herself while they rode a golf cart (and did not go in to show it to her), did not give her any information on amenities or renovated vs. classic difference, told her to 'check the website' for information on available units and prices rather than talk her through them, and scheduled 3 additional tours for other units where she showed up each time only for them to say 'oh wait I don't think that unit is ready yet' (with no heads up to her). I've also inquired about moving to a different unit recently, and have been given 3 different answers by 3 different staff over the course of a month (all of which apparently are wrong). They also have never returned a call in all my 3 years here. I have always had to call them back a day or 2 later to follow up on a message left. Maintenance is really nice but I don't think they have enough staff (not the maintenance team's fault) because they always show up a week or 2 after I submit a request to follow up. The area is really nice and the other residents are great (super quiet complex), but if you have another option in your budget in the area I would go with that one. I do not plan on reupping my lease again when it expires.
