Listen to the bad reviews, it’s true!!!
Do NOT move here!!! I wish we would have actually listened to the poor reviews and I would leave 0 stars if I could!
This place is so gross. The dog park smells so awful and people do not clean up after their pets so there is always piles of dog poop. The dumpsters are always overflowing and there is trash all around them on the ground. There are almost always homeless people lingering around, especially there the bike rack and the dumpsters - it feels super sketchy and unsafe at night. People... smoke in the units and right outside your door in the parking lot, even though in the lease it clearly states you must go out onto Hobron Lane to smoke. & I understand Hawaii has roaches, but this apartment complex is completely infested. It doesn’t matter if you are the cleanest person living here, you will still have them. And no amount of pest control services, Raid treatments, or sticky traps helped lessen the amount inside of the unit.
From the first time we had in person interactions with Teshira, she was extremely rude and difficult to even talk to. There were times we had to reach out to people above her to get simple things done. When we moved in the apartment was in poor condition and the floor was peeling up and warped in a bunch of areas. Management told me that this was “standard in Hawaii” and that “things here aren’t going to be as nice as the mainland”. When we moved out, they charged us $1400 to replace all of the flooring which is so ridiculous because I had already spoken about the issues with Teshira and told her that they needed replaced at the time we moved in. We also had crazy next door neighbors that were constantly screaming, fighting and banging on the walls and despite the noise complaints we filed, nothing ever seemed to happen.
The parking situation is another thing that sucks. There is hardly any street parking nearby and you will have to pay an extra fee ($125) every month to park in the super crammed lot where the spaces are barely even wide enough to open your door.
I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone and you may be like me and think it’s normal for places to get some bad reviews once in a while, but this is not one of those times. The bad reviews about this place are true! Living here is so awful that you’ll be counting down the days until your lease is up from the first day you move in.
