They don't do anything for there older tenants!!

Because all they care about is getting new tenants in & making $. I have been here 5yrs & still have the same dirty carpet that they told me they would change when I moved in!! I can't wait till my lease is up!!

Seemed great - until we signed the lease

This apartment complex was awful from the start. When I moved in there were several maintenance issues that were never resolved because I got tired of hassling the office - including wires sticking out of the wall. They placed a piece of tape over the wire and said they had to talk to the main tech, and then never got back to me.

During the last year I lived there my car was continuously broken into. Very time I called the office and requested that the lights outside of my apartment were fixed...
and/or replaced, and every time they told me they were working on it.

Finally I finished up my lease and moved out. Once I moved out I was told I would receive an itemized bill in the mail for the final cleaning fee and any damages they wanted to pursue - this bill never came. Before I submitted my final payment I called and spoke with office staff and asked for the amount needed to be paid. I was given the amount of the final cleaning fee, and that then my account would be paid in full. Two months after I moved out, I received a notice from a debt collector on behalf of Cherry Glen.

Do not rent here.

It'll do..

The staff here is great. The manager,Kelly is wonderful and is always willing to speak with you and always e-mails back.Dawn is a wonderful, down to earth chick that clearly loves these apartments and wants to make sure everything is taken care of.The only problem is she can love this place all she wants it's still a little janky.

The laundry facilities are gross, hot, and bug infested and cost 1.50 for a wash and dry. If you have your own washer and dryer you're fine but for a first timer it...
will be a struggle till you can get them. Every unit has washer and dryer hookups unless it's a studio I just go to the laundry down Hannah. It's more expensive but clean, air conditioned, and there aren't bugs crawling in the washers.

The gutters are all overgrown so when it rains you will hear a whole lot of rain smacking the ground violently.

The attic is always SO hot so the laundry room in the apartment is really warm. The AC system is super old,I can imagine how expensive it is to replace, but it's very fickle. You have to build a relationship with it just to understand how to make it work properly for your needs.

There are many places where the wall doesn't meet the floor so in the summer bugs are a struggle unless you spray all your baseboards down with a solution. It will cost about 30 bucks but I'm happy to pay it to have a safe frame of mind. Bugs in my home is a no no!

For you tall folks out there make sure you bring hand held shower head with you or buy one ahead of time. They are pretty short so if you're 6' you'll be bending back or doing squats.

This may all sound very negative but all in all the apartments are alright! There are hardly any amenities and you could probably find an apartment with more for the same price and similar floor plan. They have washer and dryer hookups and are willing to work with you if you have bad credit or no credit. These apartments are very close to Uindy.

For all you apartment and home hunters out there..I know it's hard to think practically when you're hunting for a home and doing a walk through but try to imagine what it will be like when you're moved in.Double check you have enough closet space, step in the shower during the walk through, take a look at the floor boards, notice the lighting if they're old and costly, and check the wall outlets..You just have to imagine, "Will I be complaining about this later? And if so.. Is it fine enough to stand for a year or more?"

Hidden Fees

Prices are higher than advertised, they charge an "upgrade fee" on units that are still outdated, they have a "move-in fee" not even listed, and finally they charge you a flat water/sewage fee not listed anywhere I've looked.
