Not a place to call home.
My family hasn't even lived here 2months and I can already tell we won't be staying here as long as I expected. Started out with the apartment wasn't ready still had numerous repairs that still needed to be done. When you 1st move in 1 of the last things you want is maintenance coming in and out still fixing things. Now I find out I pay the NIPSCO but they control when I can have it. For example, the last few days the temp has been near 90 degrees my apartment even with the Windows open has been... reading between 80-85 since I have 2 small disabled kids. I turned on the air. To my surprised it was blowing little air at all, I called to place a work order was told that until the temp reaches 3 consecutive days of 90 degrees or more they won't change the valve cause at 47 degrees it would freeze. Now I admit I don't know much about central air but nothing that I know of freezes at 47 degrees and specially when during the day we are at least 60 and above. It's the middle of may! And now I've been told by the office that without a medical condition a long with a Drs note my kids and I will have to suffer for at least another 2wks. This is insane! I pay the bill and yet you still control it. Never heard of such a thing! I'm already waiting for the next disappointment this place has to offer. I'm positive there is more to come!
