Lookout Apartments
My husband and I moved in right after we sold our house. We first tried their renovated studio for a year. It was a very nice studio but unfortunately we outgrew it- The pandemic made my work a remote position. We talked with the management company and was able to move across the hallway into a two bedroom one bath in July 2020.
The apartment is 650 ft.² with a fairly small kitchen. The layout is pretty nice and the larger bedroom fits our king size bed and two side tables without any problem.... The second bedroom is smaller and we use that as an office. Now that I am moving to permanent remote working position, we are looking for a larger two bedroom since I’ll be at home more often. We are talking with the staff again about transferring and will definitely be renting within the company.
The maintenance is very attentive and the staff is very nice. While we were living in the studio they made the laundry facilities free which saved us quite a bit of money. It is a common laundry room however it cost nothing to use the washer and dryer. The other residents are very nice and keep to themselves in general. With that being said the laundry room is usually empty and it’s not really an issue doing laundry unless it’s a Saturday night or Sunday morning. Packages come straight to the door and there’s plenty of parking. I would definitely check out At Home Apts in Mission- This is the management company that owns The Lookout- and look at all of their properties. We really like the location of The Lookout and will be sad when we move to a larger two bedroom because IKEA in our backyard is pretty awesome. Also the Merriam Police Department is it on the same block as the apartment.
