Take your time and look around for another property

Only lived here for a short amount of time and very quickly found that all is not as it seems from their website/model view. Upon getting into our apartment after over a month being open from the previous tenant we were told by the staff that the apartment was being "updated" with new counter tops, floors and paint. Come to find out later that none of that occurred, they did paint the walls a few days prior to us moving. We have had nothing but trouble and problems with the apartment from day... one - for starters;
Celling fan not wired correctly to wall switch so you had to use the pull chain to operate the light and fan. fan so noisy you cannot run it at night and try and sleep (fix)(put some WD40 on the fan motor), bathroom shower head not attached to the wall, bathroom tub not draining correctly had to have the maintenance team come and run a drain cleaner through the pipes. Celling had couple big stains that appears to be leaks but should be painted as it's very noticeable. Garage door would not open with the remote control, had to enter the apartment then open the garage from the inside. AND many other things as well. For the amount of monthly rent being charged I would expect to have a better updated apartment as well as a responsive front office staff to make sure issues are taken care of for their customers. Only bright side is the location and not the quality of the apartment.

bad maintenance/management

I made a bad decision for moving in here. The maintenance are so unprofessional as well the management. Front door leaks some air never been fixed professionally I’m paying high electricity bill comparing to my old place. I have two bath but we can’t get shower same time they claimed that because the hot water tank is small, well how about that my brother lives in another unit and he doesn’t have this issue. The light base inside my fridge is broken. Every time they come and say they fix it it... fall off the second day. Also when they tell you they are taking care of it today or tomorrow don’t forget to ask them no one showed up for the past two weeks.
I called the regional manager to break my contract and explained to her everything and she said no you will have to stay until the end of your lease.
DO NOT MOVE HERE

Very unhappy, filthy apartment.

I moved into my apartment in October 2020. Once I began wiping down surfaces I realized it had not been cleaned. There were dead bugs, layers of filthy grime in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the floors took several deep cleanings to get layers of black grime off of them. In normal circumstances, this would be awful, but during a pandemic it was especially bad. I spoke to the management and to someone in their corporate office, who assured me that the situation was up to their standard. Very... disappointing! I wish I had gone elsewhere. I don't feel comfortable in my home and don't feel supported by the management at all.

Nice, kid-friendly place to live

We lived here for a year a couple of years ago, and we found this to be a nice place for a family (our son at the time was in third grade) to live. The elementary school is in walking distance, which was nice except during a "winter vortex" when it was too cold to be outside! The apartment was clean and spacious. Our only complaint, which was not the fault of the management, was we lived upstairs to grumpy old neighbors who had no tolerance for little children living above them. Without those... neighbors (and I'm sure they thought the same of us), the apartment would have been nearly perfect.

One thing that really impressed me was during periods of heavy snow, the maintenance guy (very friendly) would be out in the early morning hours with his snow tractor, unburying cars and driveways so we could get out in the morning. I felt sorry for the guy as this work must have been miserably cold and exhausting, but he did it anyway, for which I was very grateful.

Over all, except for the aforementioned neighbors, our family thought this was a great place to live.

Making Improvements-Growing Pains

I have lived at Town Center Apartments for 4 years now. There have been quite a few management changes during this time, and some have been better than others. The current management, CRES, has initiated a $1 million dollar upgrade project. I recently got all new appliances and hardware in my unit. Unfortunately, all of this came at a cost, and my rent was increased significantly. I love my apartment and especially the attached garage. The community is wonderful and all of my neighbors are quiet... and take care of their properties. I can only hope that the rent will not continue to rise or else I will be forced to move somewhere less expensive.
