Run away as fast as you can

Management is awful! The apartments themselves are beautiful but your needs as a renter are met with hostility and disregard. The gates and doors do not work properly or lock, the property is not maintained properly, residents are allowed to run amuck, and repairs are not made in your unit. For example I had to pay for an outside company to repair things in my unit as management insisted they were not broken for example plumber, hvac, internet connections, and was advised to outdoors noise... complaints to police instead of courtesy officer as they did not answer their phone after hours. My lease and renters rights were consistently violated and when brought to regional managements attention instead of solving the problems was advised to move. This also was the experience of most of my fellow renters when I lived there.

Love my apartment

Staff has been the same since I moved in Sept. Office staff is friendly and professional. I imagine the people that complained must ve been unhappy at move out. So far, I have had a great experience in comparison to other apartments I have lived at. The amenities are ok ..wish the pool was bigger, but I love coming home to my apartment. The subdivision has a great series of social events. They are opening a coffee shop in the main square. Everything is pretty close. I live alone and it... feels safe and is always well lit when I walk my dog. Overall my experience is great. I have found any issues the staff takes care of them immediately. You are going to find terrible tenants in all places but my living experience has been one of the best.

Terrible Complex

Management changes constantly and follows through on nothing. Dogs run wild through the complex and our dog was bitten in our building by a roaming dog.
What if that had been a child? Management did absolutely nothing! False sense of security. Gates don’t work and if residents want their friends to get in and the gates are actually working, they leave bricks or pieces of wood to keep them propped open. In our particular building, residents let their animals relieve themselves in the stairwells...
,
So if you didn’t want to take the elevator and use the stairs the stench of urine was nauseating. The garbage rooms! I can not even begin to describe how disgusting. Each floor has their own garbage room. Instead of putting it down the chute, they leave it in the middle of the room. Sometimes, there is so much garbage that you can’t open the door to the room. It’s literally a health hazard. It’s amazing to me that people live that way.

Great place to call home

After touring several places in the area I can truly say there is no place like Elan. In the middle of a wooded area but within 5 minute drive of all you need. 1 quick walk from the Rusty Pelican and the subdivision hosts many events through out the year. I absolutely love living here. There s no place like home

Awful!

RUN as fast as you can away from this complex… We lived there after selling our home and in the time there, a clear shift occurred. They went through three managers as well as staff during that time. The halls all reeked of marijuana.
The gates into the apartments as well as the fobs to get into the building were always on the fritz. When we called to find out about the gates and when they were going to be fixed, the new assistant manager told me that the gates with a “luxury amenity.” What? The...
gates locked a toddler out and the mom was frantic because she was on the opposite side and had to run around locked/broken gates to get to her child!! That’s not an amenity, that’s a safety hazard. One of the outer doors to enter one of the buildings was magnetized and with a hard pull, it opens,
Which brings all sorts of undesirables into what should be a secure building. We were terrorized by our downstairs neighbor starting the day we moved in. She would beat on her ceiling day and night if we so much as walked around the apartment. This started the day we were
Moving in and continued until the day we
moved out. When you are paying extremely high end prices per month for a 2 bedroom apartment, and you can’t even feel comfortable there,
it’s sad. We saw people
Clearly on drugs at the pool with families and kids around. Immediately went to the office and was told the police would be called and that never happened.
I even sent a detailed email to management explaining the unsettling things we were seeing and got a canned response if we will check into it. Someone’s
Dog was bitten coming out of the elevator by another occupant’s
Dog that was literally roaming the halls unattended. Frightening occurrences on the daily. There are many other options these days as far as housing goes and while the area is desirable and convenient, this complex
Leaves a lot to be desired.
