Had two main appliances not work for the whole lease

My dryer and dishwasher were useable for 10 months. Numerous complaints and work orders but still nothing was fixed. Rent to high to not be able to even dry my clothes properly

Location ! Views ! Location ! Views !

I have a beautiful 1 bedroom corner unit with stunning views of NOLA, also amazing sunrise and spectacular sunsets all from the living room and bed room, apartment features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops stackable washer and dryer and more.

Judiann is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure her tenants were taken care of.

Living above the aloft hotel is convenient, not to mention live bands on weekends. Overall the property is well-maintained, and the...
location can’t be beat.

They allow smokers despite the lease agreement

Do NOT rent here! They allow smokers to rent and smoke in the apartments despite numerous complaints from residents. Also, the fire alarm goes off regularly at all times and is never addressed.

Hi! We value all of our residents at the Strand and take resident concerns very seriously. We were sorry to receive this review and we do respect that you've experienced frustration with the circumstances. We are working diligently to enforce the no... smoking policy on the property and have experienced positive results. Unfortunately, at some times, residents or guests chose to ignore the policies and smoke on premises. Whenever we are made aware of these instances, we immediately review our camera system to identify the problem, and quickly enforce lease violation policies, and continue in our efforts to ensure there is no smoking in the building. We additionally have several management employees living on different floors of the building, with strict instruction to regularly monitor and patrol the buildings to ensure the highest quality environment for our residents.
Our unique building features a hotel component, which means the building is also manned 24 hours a day with an engineer on site. We are committed ensuring all building systems are in optimal working order, which does require fire alarm testing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may represent, but it is infrequent and we do provide advance notice as a courtesy to our residents. We are committed to providing the utmost in customer service for all of our residents and pride ourselves in receiving extremely high satisfaction levels for the property. Please feel free to reach out directly to our corporate offices if we can provide any additional services to you directly.
