How Is This Rating Determined?

not bad but not that great either

Rent has gone up past the value.
Very quiet neighborhood.
On call maintenance is NO help, don’t expect a real fix just a temporary patch.
Amenities are old and run down.
Parking is HORRIBLE it’s a complete nightmare that keeps me from leaving my house often to avoid having nowhere to park.
Dumpsters are often overrun but not for long.

Disrespectful management

I have never been so disgusted with anyone! The manager Debra talked to me like I was lower than a dog when I called to tell her we weren't renewing our lease. When I told her we never received a letter saying our lease was almost up, her response was "If the wind blew it off your door that isn't my problem." She also told me to "get over it because I can't go back and change the past" when I told her I tried to ask them a month ago when our lease was up and the lady working the front desk only... told me the month, but no date, before moving on to the next person waiting. I firmly believe I was treated this way because she knows I left a negative review when we waited ONE FULL MONTH to get our heat fixed in December/January.

Aside from how you're treated by management- it's an unsafe neighborhood. Multiple things have been stolen off of our patio, and cars are broken into and stolen ALL the time.

We paid for "amenities" but were never allowed to use the clubhouse like was stated in our lease. The "gym" equipment is old and unsafe, and the parking lot and mailbox areas are extremely under-lit. No one cleans up after their pets, and several tenants take their dogs out with no leash.

If I could leave negative stars, I would!

Poor service

The only plus about this place is the location. The pre-move in walk thru clearly shows this place does things half heartedly. Took me 2 hours to do the walk thru. When I complained at how some of the things were "fixed" the management's response was "well it appears you're never going to be satisfied here we will just give you you're money back." Being in customer service and number 3 out of 10,000 plus employees in my company I certainly was not impressed by this response. I simply urge them... to help me with my concerns. They still could not understand my requests. I simply just accepted what they did and will just deal.

I load the dishwasher with $1000 of brand new kitchenware only to find that after filling it with Jet dry and closing the door it all leaked out onto the floor. Clearly the door is cracked in some way. Thought I would try to turn it on to see if it would wash. Of course not, it just poured out too. I submitted my request to fix it on 9/5/17 with clear descriptions and pictures of the failure. On 9/14/17 they finally address it only to say I put too much soap in it. I've used dishwashers for 20 years and quite frankly take offense that they think I'm too stupid to operate a dishwasher. I can't believe that with pictures and descriptions they couldn't figure out the issue. I've left a message and taken more pictures. Lease states issues are to be addressed within 7 days.

My wife opens a cabinet door above the entry way desk and the cabinet assembly nearly falls off the wall on her. Their fix, two cheap brackets that still don't hold the cabinet straight to the wall.

My 2 year old cuts himself on finishing nails that are holding the layers of the bathroom door together cause the complex was clearly too cheap to just replace the door.

Walls are paper thin. You will hear all your neighbor's business. Also the people above you will keep you up with all the footsteps, flushing toilets, draining bathtubs, and vacuum cleaners. They will also have the audacity to come downstairs and tell you your tv is too loud

Forget about getting to park close to your building regularly. Covered parking is a joke! No point in having covered parking when it's the furthest from your building. The complex does not offer remote entry so be prepared to get soaked opening the gate when it's raining. Lastly, enjoy the lovely view of the Island Park landfill as you exit each day due to the trash overflowing regularly.

Lived here for 6 months now, like it a lot!

The apartments are big and well taken care of, pools are great, no issues with crime or anything so far. Pretty good value for what you pay. The ladies in the office are nice, and maintenance usually responds quickly to any issues. You can hear your neighbors occasionally, but the walls still aren't as thin as some of the places I've been. Very good location as its close to pretty much everything, and right off a major road. I did a lot of research before moving, and it was overall the best I... could find here without paying a ridiculous amount.

The apartments are nice. But the noise is a huge issue. Unless you live on the 3rd floor you will hear the people above you. Walking, washing/drying clothes, music, flushing the toilet, it constantly sounds like furniture is being moved across the floor. Either that or they took up bowling.. You WILL hear it all. I get that we live in an apartment so there will be noise. And I'm not one of those people that complains for no reason. But after the cut off time for noise you shouldn't hear music. I... shouldn't be able to hear the lyrics of the songs people are listening to. I thought surely the couple above us is 500lbs.. But no. The apartment is just poorly built. Today actually my boyfriend and I saw a lady moving out and we asked her why she was leaving and she complained of the exact same thing we did. The noise. She was hearing the exact same things.. She said she talked to the apartment manager and eventually she was told nothing could be done and to call the police.. really..? Then what's the point of a noise curfew?.. if you don't have a box fan don't plan on sleeping...

Oh and our lake side view is a view of a over flowing trashcan..
