A Senior Perspective

This is my first experience living in an apartment complex and have been here for a year. I was very apprehensive to say the least but I was fortunate to have the leasing staff lead me through the process in a timely and friendly manner. The dog park was a big selling point for me as I have a senior dog and was lucky they had an apartment with a spacious patio of the ground level.
I live in one of the original apartments and occasionally if a repair issue arose, Steve and Daniel were always on...
top of it and took great care of it ASAP! The grounds are beautiful, my neighbors are friendly and as a 69 year old dog walker I have always felt safe when out and about with my pet (even when I have to take her out at midnight!)
It is my wish that that the sense of community I feel here continues for all that currently live here and for the future neighbors to come.

Poor quality apartments

Poor quality apartments. Backyard doors are generations old, door with net never fits properly. Lots of insect comes in as there is a small jungle closer to few buildings. There were snakes in my patio few times, I asked management to fill in the cracks outside the apartment but no action, so I took care of this by being extra cautious when I used my backyard door. Same problem was experienced by other neighbors as well. Garbage is not well managed, you will see them on the ground mostly due to... the birds. Somehow I lived here for more than 4 years. I paid the 2 months rent as lease breaking charge, near by apartments are better for lease breaking, at least my friend experienced only 1 month at other place in the past. On moving I was charged extra for the things you wouldn't expect. First of all I would recommend not to come here as there are better apartments in this area. If you can spend this much then you can spend a little more and can be at a better place. Even if you come here as I did, please take picture of everything, even minor minor things, specially things are in poor conditions, you will charged for them when you move out. Management wants to make money from everything they can.

Good luck ????

July 2016-2018 Lived here for two years ... for the first few months we complained several times to the leasing center about roaches after having the exterminator visit twice and buying my own products the issue was handled.
I thought by moving across the leasing center I’d get the benefits of having a clean quiet apartment/building.

I didn’t notice how unprofessional the leasing center was until it was time to move

manger Chris told me they have a company who cleans the carpet the...
company came out and mentioned our carpet wasn’t dirty just worn down and that it just needed to be replaced ...now that it’s time to get my security deposit back the leasing center charged to clean the carpet that they actually needed to replace....
The tub while living my in apartment for close to a year I asked them to repaint the tub
They came out and repainted the tub great
A year later preparing to move the tub needed to be repainted again but I figured that’s normal protocol it’s been about a year they’ll do it for the next renter anyway
nope they charged me $250 for something that needs to be done yearly.

I bet $1 if you call the leasing center right now you probably won’t get an answer if u do congratulations get all of your questions you need answered out at the moment ....

This was my first time living on my own
So maybe my expectations were too high
The leasing office needs more people working during business hours
Too many apartments properties I know you guys can afford it
Do better.
