The best

I have only been here at Wellington Trace for a couple of days so far, but I can say this is the best apartment I have ever rented. I love all of the amenities, the layout of the apartment, and the beautiful landscaping.

New resident

Just moved in a couple weeks ago, we had quite a few little tweaks that needed to be done after the initial walk through. Maintenance was amazing got absolutely everything knocked out in a day. Our wash machine started acting up in the second week thought it was going to be a dilemma waiting for it to get fixed or waiting on parts. Put in a ticket at 10pm that night came home from work to a brand new machine the very next day! Extremely happy! Definitely recommend, the office can be slightly... difficult to contact due to phone issues but email and stopping by the office they are very accommodating.

We have lived here almost 2 years love it here Becky and her staff are amazing the grounds are keep clean and the staff that cleans the hallways are really good so glad we live here

Very Very Worst Apartment Staff and management and These people always find a way to overcharge customers

Firstly, These people overcharge customers in water bill and in the monthly rent. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this apartment to anyone. There are lot of other apartments which are better than this for very less price. If you come to this apartment you would end up paying $60 to $150 in your water bill, but other apartments doesn't charge or if they charge not more than $30.
Secondly, The apartment leasing office staff are really ridiculous people, especially the old lady with lot of attitude...
does not do any work and always behaves very badly. They sent to lease renewal before 2 and half months and they raised my monthly rent. I spoke to this old lady that i would like to extend my lease for the same price, if not i don't want to extend my lease, and i gave her the same thing in written notice. She said she will contact property manager and get back to me. I followed up with her and she said she is still waiting on the property manager response. I followed up 5 times and all the time i received same response and 2 and half months passed away. Now its time for me to leave or renew the apartment but these people now said property manager did not agree and you would have to pay that extra money. I told of they had said this 2 and half months earlier i would had cancelled lease and had moved to better apartment. But that old attitude lady says that its my responsibility to follow up(Very stupid to say this as i already followed up 5 times). These people threw me in a situation were i need to extend my lease for higher price or go on month to month lease for 2 months to give 60 days notice. very very bad people. I really regret for their service and response.
I believe these apartment people also cheating customers in many ways with out knowing them.

Very very bad experience and i wish i could rate -5(negative 5) Stars.

Worst Apartment experience I have ever had

Considering how happy I was to find the place initially, I have been blindsided by how bad it's been.

The initial value is there. They lured me in with a short term lease while I was looking for a home to buy. I made it very clear I would not be staying beyond my 6 month lease, but a month before my lease ended, the office sent a rent schedule, stating that my rent would be going up $300-$400 dollars a month if I chose to stay. I called the office to reiterate that I would not be staying, but...
they notified me that regardless of my 30 day notice and my fixed-term lease, there is a clause hidden in the lease that I needed to give SIXTY DAYS of notice. They informed me that I would be on the hook for an extra month of rent...after I settled on my house. On top of the extra month of rent I would have to pay, they informed me that my rent for my last month would be $700 MORE THAN MY PREVIOUS MONTHLY RATE!

For that extra money, I get neighbors that get the police called on them regularly. I get upstairs neighbors that use the grass outside of my bottom floor apartment as their garbage can. I have the remains of a crab feast that has been sitting in the yard for several weeks. Every day new garbage appears. Management has stated they will take care of it. They haven't.

They did finally take care of the dog that was defecating all over the hallways and stairwell. It only took a couple months...of my 6 month stay so far...but I can finally leave my house without worrying if a large pile...or several large piles...of poop will be awaiting me. The first one stayed on the stairwell for 3 whole days!

One of the upstairs children left tore up carpet on all of the hallway carpets, while "burning rubber" with his bike inside.

With the rent hikes and the neighbors, there is NO value in living here. It's cheaper and less stressful to buy a place. My last month cost me over $2100. That's the mortgage/insurance/tax payment for a $350,000 house. You can find many less expensive places for that price...just around the corner!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate feedback from our residents. I'm sorry to hear if there was any confusion in the lease requirement of having to give 60-days notice in writing. We do send out renewal offers for all residents expiring each... month, stating the notice requirement and offer new lease term rates, in the event you wanted to stay beyond your 6 month lease.

As for any complaints about neighbors, we do ask residents to contact the office directly to report issues. In the event we have to ask a neighbor to leave for lease violations, we do appreciate everyone's patience while we take the required legal action to do so, which sometimes takes time.
