Okay when a resident nightmare starts when your not

There were little odds and ends that aggravated us but our main issues came after we moved out. We received a bill for over 1K for carpet replacement. We are actively disputing it. We have asked for proof of damage and no one seems to be able to provide it. We did have an inspection prior to move out but no one once said anything to us about the carpets. Maybe it’s not normal for them to bring it up but we wouldn’t be waiting for proof if we were shown the damages. The carpets were not damaged... other than normal wear and tear we regularly shampooed them due to having a dog and a toddler who loves to play on the floor. Other than that the only other thing we would have liked to know about prior to signing our lease was that they have a roach issue. I was taken back that the pest guy said they normally only spray the living room and the kitchen. We finally had to ask him to spray the remaining parts of the apartment, and thankfully he did but within the following week they were back so we had to buy stuff out of pocket. The other issue we had was the people above us were loud all throughout the night and had lots of people in and out of their apartment staying for long periods of time. We said something about this to the office and they sent a notice out but of course that made things even worst like they were being louder on purpose at this point. Our 4 year old was scared to sleep in her bedroom because the stomping scared her. Our entire apartment smelled like pot although we don’t smoke ourselves. We addressed this with the office as well but basically said they couldn’t help because they didn’t know where it was coming from. I have the contract we signed that has a no smoking lease addendum. Then again their lease also states there is a breed restriction at the apartment complex but it is not followed either. Its a great option if your in a bind but not sure the value of what we received is worth the rent we paid. Address a mold concern said they tested it but my mother who was there said no one did. All they did was spray bleach on it didn’t even let it dry or cleaned it just put new countertops over it. My advice if you come here take pictures and request walk through during move out process. Also watch your bills we found a couple of errors although the office was nice enough to fix those even though it took a few emails and office visits before it was completed.

Good reviews are from employees

This place is full of crime. Don’t do it, management doesn’t care

BEWARE of price quotes!!!!

I visited the company website and received a quote for a 2 bed/2bath. After going through the entire application process and putting a deposit down on the apartment, I was nonchalantly informed that the price quoted to me on the website was incorrect and they would charge HUNDREDS more!! And to add salt to the wound the company REFUSED to refund my application fee, even though I explained that I would NEVER have applied if I had known the rental rate I was quoted was incorrect. Very shady. Do... yourself a favor and keep looking!!

FIND ANOTHER PLACE

I’ve been here 4 years and can’t wait to move. Police have been here about 4-5 nights a week for the last god knows how long. Last week someone was robbed at gun point in the parking lot with a shot fired through their dash. The pandemic basically gave these people an excuse to not do any maintenance for the last year. My windows don’t stay open, my ice maker doesn’t work and they refuse to come do any repairs. Garbage community. Pool hasn’t been fully operational in 3 years. Stay away and find... somewhere nice

We are nervous and unhappy here

I had posted a glowing review about a bumpy start when I moved in 2 years ago, but that the people in the office worked to turn it around. That was the first year I lived here.

I DONT KNOW what has happened with this place in the past year, but I am not renewing my lease and cannot WAIT to move. In fact, my new roommate and I are each moving BEFORE the lease ends and paying double rent just to get away from this place.

The past year has seen a ton of office managers come and go, so the...
quality of life here has decreased to the point of drug deals right in front of my patio, cars being broken into (Their solution was just posting a sign on our front doors saying dont leave anything in your cars, then..) petty retaliation of tenant against tenant, and WHEN they open the pool (that we pay for as part of our rent) they go back on their word and shut it back down. We are so frustrated and we've tried and tried to talk to them. Nothing they can do, they tell me.. call the police. They are either unable or unwilling to provide a comfortable, safe place to live. Luxury living? What a joke.

They could care less, and that's why they're losing good tenants.
