Overly expensive/property management issues
Where do I even begin….. to start, one of the buildings had a fire in March 2022. The fire alarms never went off and management did not reassure/ease the rest of the community or send out any communications regarding this fire for OVER A WEEK. Can you imagine living somewhere where your community members have their home destroyed and your property manager sends out no emails for 1 week… (as of June 2023 Westown management has still not shared the details of the cause of the fire…. great sign of... the level of transparency you can expect living here).
When I notified the property manager that I would not be resigning she immediately responded “so why are you moving out” with a harsh aggressive/accusatory attitude and response. When I stated that I was moving out of state she stated “okay fine”.
I assume she responded with such a harsh tone because rent has been increasing $190 every year and so many residents are leaving because the cost is ridiculous.
Apartments are nice but feature energy saving water faucets that easily clog up.
You can easily find CHEAPER apartments downtown with the same amenities. The gym here is small and the pool is already showing wear and tear after 3 years.
