This place may seem like a great place to live, but it is NOT the case!
My unit upon move-in day…
I was very excited when I was signing the papers, I just wish I seen my unit beforehand. The carpet was very wrinkly, torn up, & reeked of cat urine. Torn up screens, allowing bugs inside. There was a cigarette burn on the kitchen counter. The bath water drained within minutes & hot water was limited. Overall, not worth what I was paying for in rent. The only upsides was the abundance of natural light & friendly neighbors.
Staff / Maintenance…
Staff in the beginning was... a pleasant to deal with! While living there, a new leasing agent & manager came in. The pool was never open, I was given extra charges, & they always refused to speak with me. Maintenance was a pain to deal with. If there was an issue, it took forever for them to assist me. My hot water tank gave out one day, but they were unable to fix it until the next day. That is something I personally consider as an emergency & was hoping to get the issue resolved immediately. Another time, my janky garage door locked me out. Maintenance was trying to charge me $50 just to simply unlock it. Thankfully my neighbor had a lock picker, since he went through the same issue many times before… Birchwood Pointe Apartments are charging WAY too much for how outdated & rundown they are. As I said in the beginning, don’t trick yourself into renting from here. You can do much better, as I did.
