Beautiful Property and Very Clean

I took a tour of the property with the property manager Jenni. She was very thorough and took her time to show me a couple of apartments and the grounds. The grounds were exceptionally clean and hallways of each building I saw. The buildings were very quiet and children friendly. Great apartments and the size of them also. The only reason I didn't take the apartment it was not a good connection for my husband who catches the bus to work early mornings. Thank you, Jenni, for your expertise! ...

Highly recommend this place. Got this place as my first ever apartment and had a great experience from the start. The apartments are nicely renovated and never had any maintenance issues. Definitely recommend this place.

No benefit to being a good tenant

just now-Edit
I typically don't like to leave bad reviews, but I feel it is beneficial to share the following about this property:

I have been a tenant here for over 4 years; have caused no issues and even prepay rent, and this is what I have received in return:

-I have had a package blatantly stolen from the delivery locker. No charges were filed, even though the person was caught on camera.
-I was out of town for a month having a life-saving surgery, and I came back to my bedroom window...
smashed.
-I witnessed another tenant get burglarized in broad daylight in the parking lot.
-People park in the handicapped parking spots, without any permit, and management will do nothing about it.
-There is garbage, dirty underwear, used condoms, etc. strewn throughout the property on any given day.
-I have had to let the police into the building on at least 3 occasions because of my proximity to the front door.
-If you have a guest in the lot after the office is closed, they literally have no place to park. I recently had my brother over after 11:00 p.m., as a result of an emergency. They towed his car at 11:30 p.m. We ran out to the tow truck and the tow driver made us give him $100 cash to drop the car down. Management told me there was nothing they could do and he should've parked on the road (can't park on street between 2:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m.).

The only reason I have stayed here is because my hatred for moving has outweighed these things until the most recent tow truck incident. Now, I am on a mission to move out as soon as possible.

An Okay Place.

The rent that they charge goes off their idea that the facility is 'remodeled'. Realistically all that was done was some new paint was applied and new appliances were installed. It's very easy to see that this building is old and wear and tear was already showing less than a year after the 'remodel' was completed. Consistency did not seem to matter all that much, I would frequently notice different door handles and locks on different doors for example. The remodel was not what they want you to... think it was worth, its very easy to tell there was poor paint touch up jobs done all over. Areas of my kitchen cabinets had wood protruding where it was obvious lazy measurements were taken or just guessed. The new vinyl flooring got dirty easily and was bubbling in spots. The carpet was new but unbelievably cheap, it wore down severely in any heavily travelled area and fell apart near the transition strips. In the halls and common areas there were always burnt out light bulbs that never got replaced. The walls around the stairwells were already getting very dirty. The doors to the units were thin and cheap, some had large gaps between the frame and the door allowing you to practically see inside a unit. They also did nothing to block any sound out. Management was inconsistent in their enforcement of lease policies. They claimed to be 'smoke free' but people smoked cigarettes all over just outside the building. The smell of marijuana was a frequent occurrence inside the building. I would occasionally come across people just blatantly smoking marijuana in the parking lot in plain view. Nothing really seemed to be done about this, ever. I also noticed abandoned vehicles in the lot with flat tires, leaking fluid lines, and years expired tabs, these would sit here for months almost. They also did not seem to have an issue with people doing loud work any time of the day on their cars in the lot. Overall this was an average place, hence the 3 star review. I did not have any issues here that made me seriously question living there, it got the job done. It was a learning experience for my first place, hence once again why my biggest piece of advice is to look at other places if you want to spend this amount on rent. You could find a somewhat better place. They market themselves as being upper level for mid range apartments but thats not what they are. They are an average apartment building that charges slightly higher prices because they have granite counter tops.
