Overpriced
This place was extremely overpriced and was not what it was made out to be. I had a car accident mid year where my car was completely totalled and asked the manager for the building if it were possible to release my spot in the garage early paying for half a month. He told me this was not possible and even though a final decision had not been made there was someone in my spot the next day. I paid my garage stay in full. I looked overly my leasing details over again later and found out that I... should have been granted my request.
Early in the year my brothers cat became incredibly slick and it was unclear if he would be able to take her as he was moving and didn’t know where he would be. I begged management if I could have her in my apartment as she was familiar with me and I was concerned for her health. They said no, they had the no pet policy for a reason and they were concerned for clientele with allergies. Fast forward several months and both I and another tenant note that there is a very large dog on the premise.
This is excluding accounts where I’ve heard that individuals coming from abroad are being quoted higher prices for their apartments. While there is a certain convenience to being closer to Mayo Clinic the prices that are quoted are the same as if a person is living in a large urban area. It’s completely unwarranted. I left as soon as I was able and I wish I had been more savvy in determining a place to live.
