Disappointed

I've enjoyed the area and the building. Nothing extravagant but an okay place to live. The highlight of my stay was the smoke detector going off every minute beginning at 3 am due to a low battery. Because the ceilings are so high, it is next to impossible to reset without a ladder. After 12 hours and 3 phone calls to the emergency maintenance line, I was informed that this falls within the category of issues that will be addressed within 48 hours. Awesome, I'm losing my mind

The Parkside

This is the ideal location in Lowertown. My building is situated just off Mears Park, a block from the Light Rail, two blocks from the St. Paul Farmer's Market and the phenomenal CHS Field. It is surrounded with restaurants, and the art community, and offers access to concerts in the park, and the St. Paul Art Crawl. My apartment offers high ceilings and 9' window heights which allow light to flood the rooms. When you walk through the door, you have a clear view to the other end of the... apartment, and the upgrades in the kitchen allow an open concept to the dining area. The building manages to maintains its original charm.

Nice Digs, Excellent Location

The Parkside is in an ideal neighborhood for urban pet owners. The neighborhood has a lot to offer for eating, drinking and entertainment but it is usually not overly bustling. The Farmer's Market provides excellent weekend shopping. Mears Park, the light rail and CHS Field are just steps away. The units are modern and comfortable with high ceilings and unique wooden pillars. There is excellent service from management and maintenance. The only downfall is too much carpet in the units. The... Parkside is truly a great value apartment in an up and coming neighborhood.
