Terrible Management

Property management is awful. The place is dirty. They charged me a month's rent extra just to move out, with no evidence. Do NOT live here.

Terrible Management - Dirty

Overall, the property is decent. However, the management is the worst. Never look out for the tenants.

They charged me $800 to replace the carpet when I moved out, with no proof that it needed to be replaced. They are not willing to work with me at all on it.

Dog urine is in the elevator about half the time.

Many people had to move out because of a sprinkler system error while living here, which meant weeks of repairs, and many people lost their homes for a while. They did nothing to try to...
compensate those people. Instead, they required a high insurance amount to live here. The hot tub is almost always closed, and the pool is closed most of the time. These are a few highlights. I could go into a lot more detail about the problems I had with management while here.

It's a good location, but be prepared to be charged for moving out, property management never having your back, and strange smells.

Bad News

Had a recent sprinkler go off in my loft managed by KC Loft Central. Had 12 industrial fans and 2 industrial dehumidifiers going in my place for a week. Carpet was destroyed. Water destroyed personal items which cannot be replaced. Asked for discount on following months rent because of what I had to put up with and they did NADA. NOTHING. ZILCH.

Excellent Customer Service

I recently had been working with KC Loft Central in an attempt to secure a place of living with a quick move time. Currently they are very full and have few units available- and for good reason! While I did not move forward with KC Loft Central at this time because my dream apartment at another location became available within my budget they:

Were quick about responding and showed me multiple available rooms and options within my price range based on my preferences I sent to them.

Price of...
utilities are ACTUALLY INCLUDED in base rent, excluding parking rental and electric (this is a flat fee in some select units) which is awesome has very few places in KC have it wrapped into the base price and will charge you on usage saying "its included".

Have multiple locations and selections to tour, however like I said they are very full right now, and for good reason. If I ever have to move again in the downtown area I will definitely be looking into leasing with them in the future. My representative Noma was kind, courteous, and supportive of my preferences- even when it was not leasing with them. Highly recommend KC Loft Central to anyone who wants a pleasant home finding experience in downtown KC.

Great Downtown Value

I've really been impressed with the staff, location and value. It's got coffee shops, a grocery store, lunch spots, CVS and bars all within an easy walking distance. Staff has been friendly, responsive and they were quick to fix the one ticket I did log. I don't think you can find a better value in the area.
