BEWARE: No luxury for a luxury price
Disclaimer: this pertains to the older buildings only. (Steelcote crossings and lofts) When I moved here I loved this place, but in the last couple of months it has really gone downhill. In the past two weeks, people’s catalytic converters have been stolen and cars have been broken into. You can pay to park in the gated area or garage, but there are not enough spaces for everyone. The property manager does not respond to emails. If you want amenities, you have to pay extra for them. You can get... both a pool and a gym membership at a lower cost than what you would pay here. The free gym for the older buildings has zero airflow and does NOT get cleaned. The walls are very thin. The one good thing is the people who live here are friendly. Most packages just get delivered outside, but someone will usually place it inside the door if they see it. If you have something major that needs fixed, it is not happening quickly, but if it’s simple handyman work, the maintenance man is super nice and works swiftly. This place is a revolving door of people moving in and moving out. If you are going to spend this much on an apartment, go somewhere else.

Hello, we are sorry to hear of your decline in opinion on our two original historic buildings, Lofts and Crossing. The recent outbreak of crime regarding vehicles is a wide-spread problem that is affecting many areas of St. Louis City and County, we... do want to confirm with you that we have garage parking available for all of our residents in Lofts, Crossing and Flats, if you happened to have missed our community emails, please contact the leasing office at 314-924-6045, or by email at Steelcote@2BResidential.com, several team members monitor this email daily and will contact you within 24 hours. Our team has been reaching out on a regular basis to all of the delivery companies and pleading with them to not leave packages outside the main door, we will post a special message tomorrow on the main door giving additional contact #'s and instructions to delivery drivers. We are very sorry that this process is not always followed by the various delivery companies, and we understand your frustrations.
