Great Location

This neighborhood is so conveniently located with so many entertainment options close by. Travel is easy with 77 so close by and you also have the light rail within 2 blocks. Finding great restaurants is never hard from this location either.

I hope this saves someone else from living here

Looking to live here? Go ahead and save yourself the misery and sign elsewhere. My lease just ended and I can easily say this is the WORST place I have ever rented from.

They regularly do not answer the phone during business hours and take about a week to respond to any email, if they even respond at all. Submit a maintenance request? They’ll either leave it on hold for months or just go ahead and complete it without actually fixing it. When you ask why it hasn’t been completed, they will make...
up some excuse… that is if they even respond at all.

Don’t bother getting your hopes up about receiving your deposit back within a timely manner. I have emailed, left voicemails, and even Instagram DMed them and I still have yet to hear back from someone about my deposit. My friend finally got hers back after 5 MONTHS of consistently calling the office just for the check to BOUNCE. Absolutely unbelievable.

The parking is an absolute nightmare. The spots in the lot are so tiny that people regularly have to park in two spaces to make their car fit. This then causes for even less spaces to be available. The spots are so narrow that there have been a few occasions where I have had to get out of my car through my passenger seat. I used to park on the street until my car, along with multiple other residents’ cars, got broken into. Oh but you can get your own parking space?! It’s only an extra $600 a year to be 3 inches closer to the building and it’s still not gated. What a steal!

The trash area deserves its own paragraph as well. It is CONSTANTLY overflowing. One time it piled up to the tippy top for a month and when my roommate called the front desk and said it’s been out of control for a month now, all the girl in the office said was “well it’s actually just been 3 weeks”. Her mom ended up calling the city and they determined it unsafe and told the office they had 48 hours to clear it out or they would be fined. Of course the area was then cleared out immediately.

As for security, there is none. At the bare minimum, the building doors should be able to close all the way but that can’t even seem to happen. The complex consistently reeks of weed, your packages will go missing, and they rarely bother to clean the hallways. Toward the end of my lease, the quality of tenants also significantly went downhill as I started noticing drug deals happening left and right.

Worst experience I had ever renting

Positive- Location
Negative-Communication with Apartment Complex (Don't return phone calls, they will tell you one thing verbally and if you don't have it in writing they don't honor it) - Emergency Work Orders (had a work order that was on the list of emergencies - can't get into apt because of the deadbolt suddenly malfunctioned and was told it's not an emergency and to pay for it out of pocket and we will see about refunding you) - Parking (Super tight parking, good luck finding one after...
work hours, Unless you pay for covered parking or park in the handicap like others do for free because it's not enforced) - Policies ( seems to be there to protect them not the tenet, No Smoking Building and complained that the neighbor is smoking weed and it smells like they are smoking it in my apartment and on entire floor hallway, and was told nothing we can do you have to call the Police) - Noise level (Thin walls and doors and some neighbors don't understand that they are thin) - Common area clean (They don't clean the common area frequently, had dirty diapers left in the hallway for over a week, dogs hair all over, leaked fluids from garbage bags all over)
