MANAGEMENT TAKING ADVANTAGE.HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

MANAGEMENT TAKING ADVANTAGE. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!
Right after moving out they sent a picture of the carpet and charged us 165 dollars to clean it, after 10 days, they came back charging us 965 dollars to replace the whole carpet, making us pay for the renovations that they were going
to do anyway. This management only wants to charge you for everything. On top of that, the elevators never work, this place is not safe, my car got broken into, and the AC is always broken. The common places are...
always dirty and full of garbage. Please do not move into this apartment.

Very Happy Here!

My partner and I recently moved to MAA Uptown from out of state. During the process the leasing office was very responsive and even helped us when our shipping container was dropped off while we were still on the road trip into Charlotte.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming in the building although most people just keep to themselves. We rarely have any issues with noise in the building. The train can be a bit annoying but you get used to it.

The location is everything here. Living right...
in Uptown its pretty safe in the area this apt is located in. We are right next to a Dunkin Donuts, a CVS, and Harris Teeter grocery store. There is a cute pub on the corner of our building where we have noticed many of the residents like to go to.

Maintenance support are very friendly and promptly when issues come up. Front desk is also great. Very happy and would recommend.

Fantastic Complex

I absolutely love this apartment. The office and leasing ladies are wonderful and it's located just 5 blocks from Trade and Tryon. Maintence is timely and all the workers are incredibly friendly and helpful. Fourth Ward park is only a block away (great if you have a dog). A delicious bakery, CVS, and a grocery store are all within a block away, which is super convenient. Great view of the skyline too!

Great location, reasonable rent, but an almost college like community

I love the location of the apartments. I can walk to my job in downtown Charlotte in under 15 minutes. The rent is cheaper than most other places around here, but at the cost of some cheaper fixtures (cheap doors/windows/counter tops). However, the appliances are still pretty nice. The biggest draw back is just how young the community is here. My wife and I are upper 20s, and we feel like the old people in the building. We would not care, but it can seem like living in the college dorms... again (loud/inebriated neighbors walking down the hall, general uncleanliness of public areas, loud music late at night). The only other drawback is how close you are to the train tracks. This woke us up the first 2 or so weeks, but you do get used to it and learn to sleep through it. All in all, if you are looking for an relatively affordable/decent place downtown, this is a great choice.

LOCATION !!!

The reason I chose Post Uptown is for the fair pricing, flexible guest parking, and proximity to everything uptown - from the Panther's stadium to the historic 4th ward - plus it's easy to get on most of the highways while still avoiding the traffic bustle of Tryon / Epicentre. This is by no means a luxury apartment high-rise but it's cozy and convenient and still has all the amenities (including a pool and gym). The management is great and never had a problem with maintenance. Quick walk to... Harris Teeter, Knights stadium, Panthers stadium, Epicentre, basically anything uptown is 15 mins or less. My apartment has 10ft ceilings, vintage wood floors and exposed duck work. I love it! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great location with young professionals and still stay on a reasonable budget.
