Please do not live here. Miserable.

Worst place I’ve ever lived and I’ve worked with at least 8 properties in my lifetime. The manager is completely rude, uncaring, and just not someone I want to ever speak to again. I was towed from my assigned spot THAT I PAY FOR and had to pay $200 to get my car. It is my assigned spot. I didn’t call for a tow. I had raw sewage in my apartment for over 12 hours. My toilet in my 1 bathroom apartment was nonfunctional for over 6 months. I couldn’t even have guests over because I wasn’t sure I... would have a working toilet. There is constant noise on all sides of me. And the manager has done nothing but blame everyone else and not provide any type of customer/client care or support. Please do not bother living here. Listen to all of the other reviews. Maybe things were better prior to 2020, but now it’s awful and I cannot wait to leave.

Avoid - akin to college apartments

Lived here for a year and couldn’t wait until I left. The location is close to many RTP offices, etc, but there is nothing else nearby, no grocery stores or restaurants, which makes it feel like an apartment island. Rent is comparable to similar apartments nearby. The newish furnishings are good, but the worst part about this place is the quality of construction. I could hear nearly EVERY step my upstairs neighbors made, & I had two different neighbors living there over time, so it wasn’t just... one person’s habits. Also the walls are so thin I could very often make out what my next door neighbors were watching on TV. I would not recommend.

Property Manager at Retreat at RTP responded to this review

Hello. I am disheartened to find that you had a less than stellar experience while a resident, as our team strives to ensure that all residents receive a high level of service. While our community has a level of insulation between walls, ceilings and... flooring - reasonable living-related noise is to be expected due to proximity of multifamily apartment buildings. We have taken a further measure to ensure our residents are comfortable with the addition of a Courtesy officer whom is also a member of local law enforcement. Our courtesy officer is available on a 24/7 basis to assist with exaggerated noise levels our residents may experience.-Davlin Pillay | Property Manager

Read!!

Their sewage system has been clogging up for three months now and they wouldn’t resolve the issue or let you end your lease. It’s been a weekly issue, sometimes it clogs for more than a day and overflow on our bathroom floor. If you’re trying to say here good luck. Good luck finding parking, when you find one, good luck because their parking spaces are tiny. They want you to pay extra to park your car in garages that should have been parking spaces.

Worst Appartment Ever!!!!!!!!

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Management don't care, apparments aren't cleaned and carpets changed before move in. The toilet are always clogged and they won't let you out of your lease. Parking spaces are really tiny and hard to find, water bill is extremely high. Keep looking it's not worth it, all they care about is their money
