You Were WARNED!

The water pressure is low and I was told the fire department will not let them turn it up, also that the city wont let them turn it up. This place is a joke. Management is shoddy and doesn't seem to know how to handle tenants and their concerns. The turn over rate on the apartments is HIGH!
I have been here around 7mths and 80% of my building has moved out, and they all tell the same story, they feel duped. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.

An honest review

My wife and I moved from out of state to accept a new job assignment and my job was to find a place in which we could feel safe. We had already signed a lease so we were in it for better or worse. At a glance you would think that it’sa wonderful place to stay but after a short amount of time you get the feeling that something is wrong. The make up of the residents are more align with the local University. There are lots of young adults living here and the lifestyle is that of a college dorm... setting. Yes there are a few middle aged families here but they are totally outnumbered. The office staff and maintenance staff are very nice and accommodating but that is where it ends. Just last week we heard a man beating his spouse upstairs. Right now it’s 11:00 pm on a Sunday and there are several adults cursing right outside my window. This type of lifestyle may be for some people but not for us. My advice is before moving into an area that you are not familiar with? Do your homework first.

Do NOT stay here !

If you like being controlled, and told where you can park and if you want your visitors cars towed when they visit then this is the property for you! Abernathy Park use to be a wonderful community UNTIL they started having parking passes.. LMS(the company enforcing the parking pass rules) are rude, the have horrible customer service and quite frankly should be out of business . I don’t see how anyone would want to stay here with all of the parking restrictions.

No - just no.

If you value your mental sanity and safety, do NOT move here. Neighbors are loud and constantly yelling or cussing. The other day we had someone knock on our door trying to get us to give them alcohol? Staff is nice, but that kind of nice where it’s almost sharky. They never send out notices about maintenance they’re going to do around the complex - for example, they were testing the fire alarm systems back in December. No one was aware they were doing this, so when they started going off,... everyone was freaking out. When we went to ask what was going on they were just like, “oh routine maintenance.” ??????????? Like what!!!!??? We thought our home was ON FIRE?????
There is SO much more I could type, but I’m going to leave this as is. Do not move here. It’s too much money for how ratchet and dirty it always is. Praying for anyone who decides to call this place their next home.

The perfect team

The team at Abernathy park apartments made my move from out of state so easy. They are so professional and friendly I feel like they are part of my family. My apartment was move in ready and when ever I have an issue they are right there to fix it with no problems. I would recommend Abernathy park to anyone who is looking to move to Greensboro.
