Expect to wait weeks/months to get a maintenance concern fixed.
If you like to have your maintenance requests handled in a timely manner, or at all, don’t live here. We have had many issues since moving in including being filthy upon moving in, A/C issues they refuse to fix, roach problems, dishwasher problems, door lock problems, washing machine problems that have still yet to be fixed, and more. They are slow to respond to requests (I'm talking weeks, not days). The younger guys seem incompetent when they do finally come to fix a problem. They seem to put... Band-Aids on things rather than actually fixing the problem, which leads to more (and more serious) problems in the future. And they close out maintenance requests without completing them.
With our most recent problem with our washer, the excuse as to why they haven't fixed it yet was because they have many AC and leak issues that have to take priority. I understand that AC issues and leaks would take priority. What I don’t understand is why they have so many AC issues and leaks??? Maybe they need to be discussing some preventative measures and take care of requests before they become more of an issue.
I have never had such slow responses or lack of care from maintenance in an apartment complex before. I know it is not entirely their fault as they take direction from the woman in the front office.
