Awesome Place to call Home

My experience has been that of professionalism, courtesy & prompt attention. I’ll admit when I read the reviews I thought I would have an awful experience to my surprise the entire experience thus far has been delightful. The manager & her team are completely solid.

Do not rent/ you won’t get your deposit back

Please be aware before you sign your lease! I was promised when I re upped my lease for a carpet clean, a sink faucet updates, and blinds were going to be fixed. I also put in multiple request for things to get fixed it never happened or poor job was done. I was moving, they kept all of my deposit almost and stated I left stuff unfinished and etc. trash, I didn’t leave trash they were new detergent, paper towels, I was okay with them charging the trash fee. Before I moved, I gave them my new... address. They owed me deposit and nothing was mailed to my place. I even had my mail forward it to my new place. I called multiple times for please send out my deposit and over and over they made false promises. I moved out in July and now it’s January- still didn’t get my deposit back. I was told how they were going to overnight it. Still waiting. Please do not rent from here. They will do everything in their power to keep your deposit and maintenance issues are never resolved! Also, please get everything in writing because when I re upped the old manager left and new one came. Nothing was documented in my file. If I can give this place 0 I would! Do not rent from here.

Horrible

Takes far too long, to have maintenance issues resolved, even when the issue is an extreme hazard! Staff doesn't seem to care or be concerned about safety or security of residents on the site, this place is not worth the money! This is no where near the description given!

Kerner Mill Townhomes

There is no security system available to current residents.
Maintenace is severely lacking. It has taken 8 weeks to have issues addressed inside our unit. Most recently we have been told by property managers that they would not treat or remove snow/ice from the sidewalks. The entrance sidewalks of north facing buildings are shaded and remained icy for many days. Residents have fallen. Not sure what the $50 maintenance fee per month is for.
Another issue: a major highway is being...
constructed right behind the Kerner Mill property. You can see it and hear it clearly from all units on the back side of the property.
Kerner Mill does not measure up to the luxury apartment descriptions that are given.

Fantastic place to live!

I've lived at Kernersville Mill Townhomes for 4 years. The Townhomes are primarily two story, two bedroom, 1.5 bath units. There are also handicapped accessible one story units. The units are spacious and pretty energy efficient. Gas heat and hot water, electric heat pump cooling. My energy bills are very reasonable. The grounds are well kept. The community manager does a great job of screening tenants. There is a mix of young and old, children and elderly. It's a very safe and quiet... neighborhood. The units are pet friendly. Some buildings do not allow pets if that is your preference. It's convenient to schools, shopping and the interstate. It's been a great place to raise my family.
