Very old, lots of issues

You get the sense that it would be better just bulldozing the property and starting over. There are lots of issue with roaches, centipedes, silverfish, and mice. At one point I had a centipede get trapped and die in my ceiling light. The property itself isn't very clean, and the parking lot and driveway layout leads to a lot of blind turns that feel kind of dangerous. The massive price comes from the local amenities, and almost none of that is reflected in the units themselves. There are larger,... cleaner, and cheaper apartments just 20 minutes south that still allow you fairly decent access to local attractions, so do not factor in location to whether you choose to live here, it's their one and only selling point.

We are sorry to see your 1-Star review of our Community. We do have an exterminator who comes on a regular schedule to effectively handle any concerns a Resident may have. We are uncertain what you mean when you say "the massive price comes from the... local amenities", however, we can assure you that our team works hard to provide our valued Residents with the best apartment community possible.

Roach Problem and more...

Lived in the apartments for a few years and the roach problem was never fixed. Neighbors informed me that they always had this problem and extermination would come every so often once reaching the office and explaining to them that the insects are not gone. Neighbors have lived with this issue for about 10 years, my rent went up, always had to call maintenance to get something fixed. The reason why they have prices so high is because is near everything, other than that it’s not an ideal place to... live.

60 days notice even when your lease is ending. it is a trap

I lived in this apartment for over 7 years, First i moved into 1 bedroom and then I moved to a 2 bedroom apartment that was not inspected and had roaches and mice, we had to clean the kitchen drawers, stove and etc. they promised for inspection after i move in. they lied to me about the mice and roaches. they said they didn't have mice and roaches in those apartment. No inspections came, they did bring in the pest control few times and roaches did improve but not the mice. So finally i decided... to move out of state because i lost my job two months before my lease expiration. I gave the office 7 weeks notice that i was moving out at the end of my lease. the lady at the front office told me that was not enough time and that i will be responsible for breaking the lease? 1 week short, and my lease was ending anyway? I wanted to talk to the manage there, and every time i go to see her, she is not there, i gave my number for her to call me. no call from her. I moved out without knowing what was gonna happen. she never called me. and finally got email from collection agency trying to collect the 3500 dollar from me? this is the place i lived for over 7 years and paying my rent every month without any issues. over 1500 a month for apartment that has roaches and mice. i tolerated all that and now they want to rob me some more. Please be careful, This is not a place to call home. you can get a better place. and be appreciated. I am planning to go to court with them, i have proof(pictures and videos of the kitchen, stove and bathroom). I had a 4 years son and this place want safe for a child to live.

Not what is advertised

Don’t be fooled by the pictures you see posted. Everyday living is much different, constant trash and shopping carts on your front lawn. The leasing office may look nice with flowers, but our shrubs was overgrown and we had dead grass all year round. If you want a caring staff, forget it. The neighbors and maintenance staff hardly speak English and the few that do are rude. So thankful to be out of here and getting my life back.

60 day notice

They charge you a month's rent if you don't notify them within 60 days that you're moving out. Probably the first apartment complex with that backwards policy. They charge 350 dollars for a new permit sticker should something happen to the one you were given. They charge 20 dollars when you lock yourself out of your apartment, but cannot for the life of them make sure all tenants have functional heating systems when they're required to turn them on, nor have they done anything about their... ongoing cockroach infestation. In addition to that, my apartment was falling apart and badly painted when I moved in. In addition to that there were dead gnat corpses in all of my cabinets upon moving in.

Save yourself the trouble, please. There are so many other places to move to.
