Terrible complex. Everything are broken. Maintenance won’t fix it. So dirty outside because after a garbage truck pick up a trash nobody clean it. A lot of strange people live there, drunk and marijuana smoke. Can’t wait to move out.

They don't even have a property manager, they have assistants doing the work of a licensed property manager. Staff is never on site. Maintenance never shows up on time, due to staff never informing them of the repairs. And when they do show up they come days later and unannounced. Pool area requires a key which is against egress building code. Overall, complete waste of money. Paint is spotty and flat paint so it rubs off when you touch it, building is old, and it shows. Flooring is vinyl,... counter tops are fake granite, fixtures are extremely cheap, ac hardly works, front door is only one a top lock, there's an extremely old alarm system that is not activated but the panels are still on the walls, weatherization has not been done any time soon.

Moving here is the worst decision I've made in quite some time. I should have taken the warning signs more seriously during my initial visit. The office staff cannot seem to get anything right. Any promise they make is a promise that will be broken. Everything in our apartment is falling apart despite the claim that the unit is newly renovated. The door was installed incorrectly, the paint is uneven, the socket covers are falling off, the water heater doesn't work, and the laundry room door... literally falls to the floor if you open it. Calling maintenance is a futile exercise because they never come. You can call time and time again and they will tell you someone is coming today, yet they never do. If you are one of the lucky few to get maintenance to come to your unit, they will always say they need to get a part. You will never hear from them again. The people in the office simply do not care and act like 16-year-old fast food employees. I understand it can be difficult to care about a job that probably pays very little, but it helps to pretend. If you are reading this, please do not move here. I stand by every day and watch people tour the apartments wishing I had the guts to tell them not to move here. There are many other options in the area that cannot be worse than what I have experienced at Ladera/Legacy Point.

Master bathroom tile and caulking in the shower were not sealed properly upon moving in and appeared to have been applied over existing mold. Our request to fix this was ignored. Shower started leaking in October (we moved in in July), contacted them over the phone and was told they would fix it. They never arrived. Tried the same method again to no avail. Then I went in to the office on a Monday (November) was told by an staff a work order would be put in and that it would be fixed by Wednesday... at the latest. A week went by and no one came. I returned to the office and asked when my maintenance request would be attended to. The woman there said there was no work order in the system and asked who I spoke to. The person I spoke to before had no nametag and did not introduce herself. Why this was relevant I have no idea. She was attempting to shift their mistake on to me. They finally arrived a week later. Once they removed the shower tiles (one had already fallen on me in the tub) I peaked into the bathroom and saw that there was black mold covering over half of the wall near the faucet. They quickly shut the door to prevent me from looking in. They locked us out of the bathroom overnight to dry out the wall. Today they came back (while face chatting) and removed the fan. The all went into the bathroom (preventing us from looking inside again) talked a bunch, locked the bathroom door again, and left saying they'd be back later today. It's almost 6pm now and they've yet to return. Why we can't enter the bathroom to use the sink or toilet is beyond me since they've removed the fan. I assume it's to prevent us from photographing the black mold everywhere.
