Apartment itself is fine, but management leaves a lot to be desired

Apartment itself has nice vinyl flooring, but despite the fact that I kept it pristine I was still charged for over $300 "repair" after moving out. I don't even wear shoes inside, and I swept and mopped every week.

On move in, Some shelving was loose in the walk in closet and used very cheap materials overall.

Not to mention that despite everything being in near perfect condition, I didn't get my deposit back yet.

Management also doesn't allow back-in parking, and instead of a paper under...
your wiper, they will slap a STICKER on your window that is difficult to remove and will leave residue.

Also, a laundry door FELL on me and they tried to charge me for it. When I refused, they gave me a new door that didn't fit so it couldn't be closed all the way.

I wouldnt even think of applying here

I would look the other way and look for another apartment. Upon applying, you are expected to pay a $300 holding fee on top of the $55 application fee BEFORE you even find out if you're going to be accepted or not. And if you happen to get denied on your application, the $300 refundable holding fee will be MAILED BACK in a cheque form in the old address you put down. Now, if I'm looking for a new place to live (such as this one), why would I want anything to be mailed to my previous address? And... the refund will take about a month to process. And I would have already gotten a place by then. Also, not everyone has another $300 to pay for another holding fee to ANOTHER apartment? Does your corporate ever think about that? Yeah, I would not even think about applying here. Huge waste of time and money. And the place is not even that nice looking for how much they are asking. It's small, and the walls are very thin

Resident 2017-2019

Loved our first year at Copper Creek- rent was reasonable, apartments were decent, had no maintenance issues, the side we lived on was nice and quiet- we truly had no problems. One night, my parking pass fell off of the rear view mirror in my car and was laying on my dash board. Instead of a warning, I got immediately towed. There were about 6 other covered parking spots open. About 3 weeks later, I noticed a car parking under covered spots with no permit in sight and they were left alone. This... was my first bad impression from this complex- not even a warning for their paying residents, but an automatic tow for a simple mistake. A complex that cared about residents would not do this- a complex that cares only about money would.

Secondly, they thought it was a great idea to install hardwood floors on the upper level units. My partner and I have not had a decent night's sleep in months due to the constant stomping of our upstairs neighbors. Every pin-fall can be heard.

Lastly, there are apartment inspections twice a year. Normal for apartments, no problem. Last year they threw in a fire inspection and a leasing inspection as well, so there were four inspections in one year. They do not tell you when they will be entering other than a 12 hour window on a specific day. They also do not leave any indication that they have already been to and completed the inspection of your apartment- no note, inspection checklist, etc. Coming home after a long day of work, it would be nice to know if I can hop in the shower or get comfortable as I may still have people entering my apartment. How hard is it to leave a notice of completion?

These reasons, while inconvenient, were not enough for me to write this review. I understand apartment complexes often come with drawbacks and management companies cannot please everybody. The reason for this review is an email I got two minutes ago from management notifying residents that water would be turned off complex-wide tomorrow from 9am-5pm due to scheduled repairs. Why, if this repair was scheduled, am I receiving notice that I need to stock up on water for bathroom activities, cooking, etc less than twenty four hours before I will be without water? Why couldn't we have been notified earlier? Simple- management does not care about their residents. I have lived in several other complexes and have loved them all. I am not hard to please. I advise anyone searching for apartments to look elsewhere.

Look Elsewhere

Find a different complex to live in. The walls are thin, maintenance is slow, appliances are outdated, dog runs are a complete joke, staff is clueless, and your vehicle gets towed if your parking pass falls off the rear view mirror. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I am not the type of person to take the time to write a review online. If zero stars was an option, that’s what I would give this regret.

If you do rent here, it's not too bad

Moved in on a one year lease. It was great in the beginning, but now I can't wait to leave. There is only one parking pass, and no reserved parking. There is very little uncovered parking, unless you live in the back of the development. It would be great if you live alone or aren't home too often. This community is super dog friendly, but everyone I've encountered is really nice. The office staff make it very uncomfortable if you come in for anything, including the business center. There is also... a 60 day WRITTEN notice required to move out.
Interior: my apartment didn't look too different from the one we were shown, but a lot was broken when we moved in. Maintenance guys are pretty nice. The first repair that had to get taken care of, the guy left a huge mess all over my kitchen and bathroom. (Microwave repaired and bathroom sinks)
Ran out of hot water multiple times during the cold winter months too.
